Answer:	No plug in for this unit, only batteries. We have had no problem with batteries lasting. We use Duracell and they have lasted. No complaints there. The only complaint and it is not a major is we have several cameras up and several cards to read it gets warm and shuts down. This is rare but it has happened.

It would be great if some company would produce easy to apply and remove thicker vinyl Amber-colored screen protectors for Kindles, phones, and tablets, that would be easy enough to use whenever blocking blue light was desired--rather than staying on until being replaced by a new screen protector.
