Question:	Just received this and why is there a rattling noise within the unit
Answer:	We were able to smoke beverages, however, we never put the tube directly into the beverage. The way we smoked them was to hover the smoke over the beverage, place a lid over the beverage and wait a couple minutes. We smoked several different types of beer this way as well as margaritas. I would not recommend putting it directly into liquid.

PLATE & COVER

Arrange your food on a wooden chopping board or serving plate. Cover completely with a glass dome or an upside down bowl. Place the end of the injection hose underneath the edge of the dome making sure the smoke is directed towards the food, inside the dome.

SMOKE

Place wood chips just enough to fill the wood chips chamber, slide the switch to turn the device ON. Fire the wood chips using a kitchen lighter. In as quick as 30 seconds, smoke will fill up the inside of the dome. STOP firing the wood chips, turn the device OFF, and remove the injection hose from under the dome to keep the smoke in.

Answer:	I think what happens is that the recording is still resident but just ends with the *beep beep* of the battery dying. I've not paid attention lately to it, though.

I have tested a few items and the smallest label size tha tyou may use is 3/8" x 3/4" for a UPC- E barcode and 1" x 2 1/8" for the UPC-A barcode.
