Google "Pakistan bagpipes" and you'll see discussion on every possible internet forum for pipers saying the Pakistan-made pipes are basically unusable for anything beyond hanging on the wall. It's not just nationalist bias, plenty of folk give detailed explanations as to the crude craftsmanship of these workshops which have been infamous for making poor quality pipes for decades. If you peruse any online bagpipe forum, you can find plenty of info for beginners about how to start out affordably on decent student models, but this ain't it. |

That isn't some nationalistic bias thing against Pakistan, it's just the specific makers that churn these out don't put any effort into their product and rely on uninformed purchasers. |
