Answer:	It would be a great uke for a beginner. It has a lovely mellow tone and is quite nice looking as well. It has held tune very well, too. I bought this as a starter uke for my son and I was quite pleased with the quality. Now just to remind you, this is a baritone uke which is different from a soprano uke. Different tuning. It's tuned like a guitar and has a lower, fuller tone than the soprano uke. But I think this will be a great uke for you. It's economical but still looks and sounds great. In response to Andrew's answer below, please don't believe that this is not a "proper uke". Just as there is a soprano, a tenor, and an alto sax, there are also baritone and soprano ukes. They are all "proper" but just different and they have very different sounds and personalities. I'm 56 and have been playing the baritone since I was 12 and it's a great instrument.

I asked my granddaughter, and she said it looked like an animal to her too. I have two Caramel ukes. This one, which I have restrung and tuned GCEA; and my other which is Zebra wood, which I retained the DGBE tuning. I love them both. The baritone ukulele is currently my favorite instrument. Answer:	Indian rosewood looks significantly lighter and is more common in stringed instruments due to various world regulations on exotic woods. Most likely what this is.

Answer:	The pickup defaults to tuning first. Then you press the tuner's power button off and it works as a pickup. It ALWAYS defaults to the tuner first. If you're in the middle of a set and you want to unplug then you have to turn the volume off on the uku or power off on the amp.

Answer:	Yes. Aquila.
Question:	What is the difference between the ka-c kit and the ka-15c kit? there's a price difference but i don't know what makes the instruments different
Answer:	The KA-15C and KA-C are two quality level models of the same uke. The KA-C has binding that binds the top/back and sides together. You can see it as the cream strip around the edge of the top and back. The KA-15C does not have binding. The top and back are attached directly to the sides and there is no color accent strip. All other features are the same. It cost more to use the binding. Unless you are a concert professional, you will not notice any difference in the sound.

Answer:	It has a very short shoulder strap that clips on.
