Answer:	If the lid is modified, it probably could. However, it defeats the point of keeping the turntable in a tight, safe cushion during travel.

Answer:	While I have not personally tried to fit an AT L120 into this case the AT L120 turntable specs are pretty close to the legendary Technics 1200 which I am 100% certain fits in this case as does the Pioneer PLX 1000. I have no doubt that the AT L120 would also fix very nicely into this case. One more tidbit of information - if you want a heavier duty version of this Odyssey case I would recommend going with their "black" series as the construction of the case is twice as good in my humble opinion.
