Answer: | No |
Question: | Will these work with my audio technica lp120 turn table |
Answer: | My son has them hooked-up to his, Audio Technica AT-LP60BK Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable. But, the sound is low, however when he hooked-up to laptop they blast. |
Question: | Is this huge for all in one pc |
Answer: | I'm not quite sure what you mean by huge? I guess that would might say they are deep for an all in one because the profile of an AIO PC is so thin, but these are excellent monitors for the price range. If you are looking for a thinner profile then these are not for you. The height is well suited for an AIO PC though. |
Question: | Do the pair come with USB and RCA cables includes |
Answer: | It comes with a USB cable and one 1/8" stereo cable - ie a 1/8" jack either end, not phonos. (The 3 sets of inputs are two 1/4", two RCA phonos and one 1/8" stereo.) There's also the lead for connecting the speakers, which is rather short (1m). |

The Alesis Legacy
Over the span of more than a decade, Alesis monitors have established an enviable, well-deserved reputation for accuracy and dependability that made them an excellent choice for professional use.
The original best-selling M1 monitors were perfect for almost any situation.
Our latest generation, the M1 Active MK3, features advancements in studio monitor technology that bring the Alesis M1 series to a whole new level of legendary unmatched professional sound.
Fusing a high power, 65W bi-amplified design with an optimized waveguide for superior imaging, head every detail of your mix with the sublime clarity your production demands.
Premium, Forward Thinking Components
The M1 Active MK3 studio monitor utilizes a stunning new 5-inch aluminum woofer that is lighter and stiffer than typical carbon-fiber, paper or glass-Aramid woofers, giving the MK3 an even faster transient attack and more linear response through the bass and midrange
Controlled Sound Output
A precision-designed waveguide provides high-frequency dispersion in a well-controlled, predictable pattern. This ensures a widened listening 'sweet spot'—even well to the side (off axis) of the speaker—while at the same time preventing random scattering of the sound.
No Stone Left Unturned
The smoothly radiused 'aerodynamic' cabinet edge prevents objectionably-audible artefacts from edge diffraction and the flared front-firing bass ports eliminate distracting port turbulence from the speaker’s bass output.
Seamless Integration
Whatever your studio setup, M1 Active MK3 allows you to assimilate with ease thanks to its studio-friendly inputs.
With a balanced XLR+1/4” combo input, complete hookup flexibility for all of your favorite studio equipment couldn’t be simpler.
Clarity
With M1 Active MK3 studio monitors, you can listen, mix, and create with complete confidence that you’ll get the most accurate sound. The M1 Active MK3 monitors feature a wide frequency response (from 45-22kHz, ±3dB), so you can hear all the music with the lifelike realism demanded by today’s music.
Superior Performance
The M1 Active MK3 features a Class A/B 40-watt LF amplifier/25-watt HF amplifier for smooth, 'gutsy' performance and generous headroom compared to ordinary 'digital' amplifiers

User questions & answers
Question: | not that familiar with powered monitors so this may be a dumb question... but can you hook a subwoofer up to these or should you (ie a 2.1 setup |
Answer: | I don't think you can. I'm not very familiar with sound set ups, but I would think a 2.1 set up would require a receiver of some kind, or a crossover to split high freqencies from low frequncies . Even if you managed to hook one up, how would the subwoofer know to play the lower frequencies, which is what the receiver (crossover) is for. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I use these for my Alesis Nitro edrums |
Answer: | Yeah, sure. The output from the Nitro module is mono (stereo L/R), and so is the Alesis Elevate series, which has 1/4" trs and rca L/R inputs. The actual frequency range of the speakers should cover the nitro fairly well, though the low end is taxed below 80hz...good enough for the punch of most kick sounds, but lacking the boom. For practicing w the Nitro, these would be suitable. |
Question: | I have a Focusrite 2i2, will I need any extra cables to plug it in |
Answer: | You can use standard jack cables, as guitar jacks... (no xlr) |
Question: | Does these come with a Y splitter cable? (1/8 in to RCA white and red) I plan to use this to connect them to computer |
Answer: | as far as i remeber, you get one, but its really short (like 1-1.4 feet) and low quality. get a new one that is of better quality and longer |
Question: | I have an M Audio m track 2. What exact cables do i need to set this up with my m track? And how would i go about doing this |
Answer: | as far as i know, the m track has that white and red (RCA) outputs on the back. from there you connect them to the speakers with a cable that has those connections on both ends (red and white on each end). you interconnect the speakers with a 1/4" cable that comes with the speakers (i recommend buying a new one of better quality and of the length that you need) |

Every Eris-series studio monitor utilizes a woven composite, low-frequency driver. The weave and nature of the Eris E3.5’s 3.5-inch woofer result in a more constant dispersion pattern throughout the frequency range, resulting in less time-smeared audio and cleaner overall sound.

User questions & answers
Question: | it is 220v power |
Answer: | No. Just regular 110 |
Question: | Guys, are these speakers 9 lbs each or 4.5 per spaeker. Says shipping weight 10.8 lbs |
Answer: | 4.5 per speaker |
Question: | How do they handle bass |
Answer: | the sound frequency rang is 80hz-20,000khz. That means they are not capable of low frequency extension below 80hz. Which means you will not hear any sub-bass at all, and any bass notes will be on the high end of the bass spectrum, i.e., no mid-bass. In order to hear any real bass, you will need to add a subwoofer, which is difficult because these have no subwoofer outs, so you'd have to run them through a preamp with subwoofer outs to separate the bass channels at the source. With that being said, they are very clean studio monitors for desktops or small rooms. I have owned these as well as the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1, which do have a subwoofer. The Klipsch aren't marketed as studio monitors, but they are tuned very nicely for music listening and provide all the bass you could ever ask for. The CR3s are maybe a little bit cleaner in the mids and highs, but there is no way to make bass magically appear without a subwoofer, because the frequency response just can't go that low. |
Question: | is it a pair |
Answer: | Yes, it does come as a pair and may I tell you they are worth every penny. I use mine in a diesel shop environment that is always loud and high noise levels, especially from air operated tools. these put out great sound at 3/4 volume enough to be heard 2 work bays from mine. the main reason for my purchase was because i was so tired of my bluetooth cutting out, the endless battery replacement , and no feeling from the speaker I used to use... these are great thumpers ! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this come with cables |
Answer: | This speaker comes with a power cable, but audio cables are not included. The speaker has one XLR and one 1/4" TRS connector, so you can purchase whatever cables work with your system. |
Question: | How's the bass on this? Is it boomy or muddy |
Answer: | Realistically, if you are working with contemporary EDM or any electronic music with sounds below 45Hz, you need a sub. Don't get me wrong, the LSR305s are excellent, clearer than the 308s. For material like Country, the bass is sufficient. Even for Rap and EDM you can adjust and place them just right, and estimate how things will sound on a big club or car system. But pairing the LSR305s with e.g. a LSR310S sub gives you the real thing, though sub placement is SO critical it's another rabbit hole. |
Question: | Do these hiss? I sent back lsr305 due to the hissy tweeters |
Answer: | Some do. It’s normal. on the ones that do they are extremely quiet. The “hiss” is only audible while the speakers are not in use and is caused by the internal amp. I wouldn’t call it a hiss as much as it is just static noise from the amps unused electricity. If you don’t like that, maybe these aren’t the ones for you. But I will say that most other powered monitors I have used make this exact same noise. With mine mounted on the wall about 2 feet in front of me and 2 feet above me pointed down at my seat I cannot hear the hiss until ~90%+ volume, And again, exclusively when they are not in use. Hope this helps. |
Question: | What cables do I need to connect these to my computer |
Answer: | If you are wanting to connect to computer or a cellphone with a 3.5mm jack then do an Amazon search on "3.5 mm TRS to Dual XLR3M Stereo Breakout Cable" or "3.5mm TRS to Dual 1/8 inch TS Stereo Breakout Cable". |
