Answer:	Yes, It has a tripod screw mounted on the bottom of the camera case if you wish to keep the camera in its case. Maybe a little wobbly but with the proper tightness, OK. I would rather take the camera out of its case and use without onto the tripod.

Answer:	I wasn't happy with this one for the Canon Rebel EOS, I have the T5 model. My sister gave me a Targus TG-MP6710 monopod which I'm very happy with. The one you're looking at would work more with a lighter weight point and shoot camera.

Answer:	If the gopro a screw connection on the bottom has. I mean that it works then. I use a nikon coolpix and that works fine.

Answer:	You can attach the entire stick to your hiking monopod by way of the threaded base if the stick.
Question:	Does the tripod have a hollow handle
Answer:	This is a very simple hand held telescopic pole for light weight cameras. Its rather cheaply made in my opinion. Unfortunately for me even my compact mirrorless Sony a6000 is too heavy for it. When fully extended the pole bows a good bit. I recommend it only be used with a very small, light weight point and shoot camera. I suppose it could be used in the water as it is constructed using minimal plastic and metal parts. I would imagine rusting would be an issue considering the cheap metal material used. As for a remote....no. It does not come with one.
