User questions & answers

Question: How well does it work with pro tools
Answer: The screen let's you warp, trim, and edit clips on the fly without having to look at your computer screen. It's got a color display compared to the old orange led screen that looked like it came out of the early 90s. I've had a push 1 for about 5 years now and love it. Still works like it did day one and I can't justify upgrading to the 2 yet. If you're just curious, go on ebay and get a used push 1 for a couple hundred bucks unless you're going to be mainly using it to slice beats, then it might be worth it.
Question: Does this need a driver installed to work, or does it use native class compliant USB
Answer: No this won't actually record anything. I.e. There are no inputs located on the controller. Abelton is more for after you record you can loop and sequence etc.
Question: anyone know if this will work with Fruity loops and cubase
Answer: Straight into the computer through a usb type B port. It has external power only to make it brighter, which I have going on at all times. It's just a controller to use for ableton, so all you'll need is Ableton 9.5
Question: Will this work with studio one
Answer: Hey there, Thank you for the question. The product is the same, Push 2. The difference is the seller. One is one of our official Amazon re-sellers, Pitbull Audio, the other is Amazon themselves. Hope this helps! If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support Team at https://www.ableton.com/en/help/ or give us a call M-F 3am-1pm PST @ (323) 924-3808 Cheers, Chris, Ableton Support

User questions & answers

Question: Does this work with Guarge band
Answer: Hi Martin,AKAI support here! The MIDImix is a "Blank-slate" type of controller, allowing you to map it to any DAW that has some form of MIDI Learn. Unlike almost any other DAW out there, Pro Tools does not have this functionality, aside from some plugins that can be loaded within it, so this unit cannot map to Pro Tools in the state that the software is in right now. If you have any questions for me, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected].
Question: Does the Faderpot require third party software to update the firmware
Answer: it doesn't need drivers, it uses a native class, on windows 10 64 bit it installed with no problems or errors
Question: Is 110v or
Answer: yo yeah. its midi mappable. i use ableton, however i used both cubase and fl and the midi mapping is basically the same. activate the controller in midi settings then map it if they dont have any fl or cubase maps made anywhere. i havent ever checked myself, i just map the midimix to my channels in ableton
Question: this function better that the original fader port with Logic Pro? 1st one never really got a driver to make it function well, was half baked
Answer: Yes. Studio One, like almost all modern DAW software, allows you to assign "control surfaces" like the MIDImix to screen parameters like faders.

User questions & answers

Question: Does it come with software
Answer: Yes they should still come with a suite of bundled software.. some Korg, UVI & AAS vst's.. Ableton Lite DAW as well.. Honestly the bundled software is worth more than the cost of the unit
Question: Is it also a normal instrument or just for computers
Answer: Just for computers/laptops
Question: Does this work with Logic Pro X and ProTools
Answer: I've used it successfully with both. For Protools it took these extra Steps below.1. Install latest USB midi driver from http://korg.com/nanoseries22. Hold down set marker and play while plugging USB cable into NanoKontrol2 from your computer.3. In Pro Tools, click on setup and go to peripherals.4. Open the midi controllers tab in peripherals.5. Select "HUI" as type, NanoKotrol (slider/konb) for send to, and NanoKotrol (CNTRL) as the receive from port.
Question: does it come with the USB cord
Answer: Whoever designed packing for this product is an idiot. The cable is stuck behind a cardboard partition on one end of the box. If you opened the box from the wrong end you will not see the cable and it will look like the box only contains the manual and the controller. But yes, it does come with a cable.

Product description

Panorama T4 is a powerful MIDI controller with great integration with most DAW's. Additionally it is the first controller to deliver Nectar-level instrument plugin control in any VST/AU compatible DAW. Load patches directly from the keyboard and start controlling parameters immediately, with every change instantly visible on the LED display. Control any instrument plugin with one of the many included maps or customize and create your own. Discover new performance tools like the powerful chord, hold and note repeat functions. Tweak repeat parameters, plugin parameters and record it all in your DAW. Panorama T4 connects to most DAW's delivering track navigation, mixer and transport control with either Nectar DAW integration or MCU compatibility. PLAY: 2ND GEN PANORAMA KEYBED Panorama T4 features a 2nd generation Panorama synth-action key bed. Dampened and carefully balanced across the keyboard with medium tension, which means the activation force required is in the middle of the range established for professional keyboards. Five velocity curves shift the emphasis from soft to hard, giving enough choice to cater for any playing style. A fixed option enables velocity values to be set by controls, including the wheels. The 2nd Gen Panorama key bed is our most expressive key bed yet and features the After Touch strip: Easily triggered and controlled, After Touch makes it possible to dynamically alter tone or volume by gently applying just a bit of pressure. PADS: BEATS ON TAP Designed with finger drumming in mind, Panorama T4’s 8 large velocity and pressure sensitive pads are the perfect tool for beat creation. Triggering at an extremely low threshold, they will capture ghost notes and flams as easily as you can play them. If the factory settings are not expressive enough for you, it’s even possible to calibrate each pad individually for optimum performance. Each pad can be assigned any MIDI note number or MIDI cc message for use as MIDI trigger or toggle buttons – and assigning sounds couldn’t be easier: Activate Pad Learn, select a pad, play the required note or drum sound on the keyboard and assignment is done. A Pad Bank Button left to the pads gives you access to another 8 pads, for a total of 16 pads within a pad map. 8 such pad maps are available for recall at any time. With DAW Integration, you additionally get automatic mapping of dedicated drums synths such as Reason’s Kong and Bigwig's Drum Machine for a tightly integrated drum machine feeling, complete with full visual feedback on the pads. You can even assign chords to the pads and combine this with the Pad Repeat feature to generate fun rhythmical and chordal figures. The display’s “Velocity Spread” soft key quickly spreads the last played note across all 16 pads, each with its own fixed velocity, making it easier to create consistent and nuanced dynamics. And “Velia” gives you access to a pre-assigned fixed velocity level. PERFORM: KEY AND PAD REPEAT Located just above the wheels are the Key Repeat and Pad Repeat buttons. Press to activate the repeat function and notes will be repeated at the set rate. Change the rate in real-time from 1/4 – 1/96 note values, change the tempo, add some swing and set an accent interval. Repeat settings for pads and keys are independent of each other, so one can be set for the drum beat and the other for an instrumentation part. The Repeat’s trigger mode can be set to repeat from the point of playing a note or to sync with the beat. Clock source can either be internal or external MIDI clock. Repeat is a fun way to look for ideas and facilitate “happy accidents”, regardless of whether you are adding flams to drum beats or creating big repetitive chord progressions. CONTROL: ACCESS ALL AREAS Nine 30mm faders, 8 assignable LED buttons and 8 encoders are at the center of the T4's control panel. Each control is fully programmable to send any MIDI CC message for use with hardware or software MIDI products. When used with Nectar DAW integration or Nectarine, the controls provide flexible pre-mapped DAW- or plugin-control, giving you deep tactile control right from the hardware. The DAW integration files also contain automatic catch-up and soft-takeover functions to avoid parameter jumping when you switch between devices. Our “Null” function additionally allows you to do this without relying on software feedback with independent settings for each of Mixer, Instrument, Multi and Preset modes. Control settings can be stored in any of Panorama’s 10 presets for recall at any time. DISPLAY: INSTANT FEEDBACK The custom LCD display provides crisp and clear feedback for all your settings: Here is where you select Panorama’s different modes, access global parameters and navigate your software. With DAW Integration and Nectarine, you will even see your software’s mixer and plugin parameters right there. The 4 soft buttons below the display will change their function according to the selected menu for fast access. The 4 mode buttons to the right of the display allow you to change from internal mode to DAW or plugin control at the touch of a button. The Multi button is reserved for Nectarine. By pressing the FOCUS button, you can enlarge the current parameter to fill the whole screen. All of this ensures a fluent and fast workflow without any guessing games. WHERE IS NEKTARINE? You hardly notice it, but it’s there. Nectarine is discreet and doesn’t impose itself on you or your DAW. But behind it lies a powerhouse of features that enhance control and library management of instrument plugins. Launch Nectarine and it will immediately communicate with your Panorama T4. Now you are ready to take deep control of VST, VST3 or AU plugins from Panorama: Load an instrument plugin that’s supported by Nectarine's default plugin maps and create new and exciting sounds that you didn’t even know your plugin was capable of. Turning knobs is so much more fun than moussing around. The display will tell you which parameter is assigned to each control as well as status feedback. The LED buttons below the faders are set up for navigation so it’s quick and easy to find your way around even complex plugins. Each button is labeled with a common control page name such as OSC, Filter, Envy, LFO and FX. As soon as you press a button, the corresponding Nectarine factory map page is selected. The LED buttons can be “learned” to any map page so you can set up each map exactly how you want it. CONTROL MAPS No doubt, there will be plugins out there not yet factory mapped for Nectarine: no problem! Click the “Edit” button in the Nectarine header to open the control edit page. This is where control map pages are created. You can also rename parameters and create navigation assignments so it’s easy to select the plugin’s pages. Drag and drop parameters to assign them to controls on each page or use Panorama’s parameter learn function. Factory maps are also customizable and any map can be saved for automatic recall every time the plugin is loaded. Nectarine and Panorama T4 delivers an unrivaled control experience with deep integration typically not even available on dedicated hardware synthesizer products. With this level of control you’ll see your instruments in a new light. BROWSE MEANS LESS Nectarine's browser enables browsing of patches directly from Panorama T4. Factory patches for most of the popular instrument plugins are instantly available with minimum setup. Your own user patches can also be imported or saved, so over time there will be quite a few patches to choose from in the Nectarine browser. Thankfully, Nectarine has all the tools to help you manage thousands of patches – including patch tagging, search and rating options which make it easy to find exactly the patch you are looking for. Group tags store a combination of tag settings and make it possible to narrow your options at the push of just one button. The best part is that the Nectarine browser allows complete migration between DAWs: Use Nectarine in one DAW and your plugins can be browsed the same way in any other compatible DAW. MULTI MEANS MORE Panorama T4’s Multi mode enables up to 8 instrument plugins to be layered in Nectarine. Each plugin slot has its own unique browser settings as well as volume, pan, mute and solo parameters assigned for instant mix from Panorama. When Multi mode is active, patches loaded for each slot are clearly listed in the display and slots can be added in real-time. Press the Browse button at any time to load a new patch in any of the active slots. Multi definitely means more! DAW CONTROL Panorama T4 is compatible with any DAW that supports Mackie Control Universal (MCU). This includes transport, track selection and basic mixer control. The 6 LED transport buttons put an end to using the mouse for this. Dedicated Track up/down buttons are located below the display. If your DAW is supported by Nectar DAW Integration, you can do even more. FIX IT IN THE MIX Control basic mixer functionality right away: The first 8 faders control your DAW’s mixer in banks of 8 channels each, their LED buttons activate mute. And this works in any DAW, that supports MCU. Hold shift and move through your mixer in banks of 8, using the Bank buttons below the Display. The 9th fader controls master volume, the encoders are mapped to channel pan. With Nectar DAW Integration, you get extended features such as alternating channel 9 between volume control for master and current channel – or toggling the LED buttons between solo and mute. Depending on your DAW, you can also use the display buttons to switch the encoders to control sends or smart/quick controls in Logic or Cubase for example. To help you make the best out of your screen estate, Panorama also has shortcuts for opening and closing your DAW mixer window. NEKTAR DAW INTEGRATION – THE COMPLETE SYSTEM Nectarine and MCU DAW control create a powerful system. Our Nectar DAW Integration software takes the system integration even further: This custom software is especially created for each of the supported DAWs and will provide you with a common workflow that gives access to expanded transport and mixer functions as well as control of your DAW’s own instruments. It’s the most complete DAW control system available, even compared with products in higher price brackets. Panorama T-series’ DAW integration currently supports Bigwig, Cubase, Garage band, Logic, Unendow, Reaper, Reason and Studio One. HIGHLIGHTS Extended transport control with Got Left locator, Set L and Set R locators, Undo, Click and Record Arm. Mixer mode with display feedback, track listing, volume, pan and sends control. Control of Smart/Quick Control in Logic and Cubase/Unendow, channel macros in Studio One. Dedicated maps for DAW’s own included instruments. Basic mapping of plugins not hosted in Nectarine, offering 2 encoder pages (1 in Studio One) and one fader control page. Grab/learn parameters – take control of any parameter on the active instrument immediately. Automatically detects and manages communication with Nectarine when inserted on a track. Automation write/read activation. MIDI AND USER PRESETS If you prefer to control MIDI hardware products, Panorama T4 can do that as well. The Control Edit menu makes it easy to program any of the controls to send MIDI messages from standard MIDI cc, RPN and NRPN, MMC and of course note messages. Buttons and pads can even be set up to load specific Panorama T4 presets or pad maps as well as trigger chords. There are 10 presets to store control setups and a further 8 pad maps storing 2×8 pad assignments each. Once controls are programmed as they should be, connect your MIDI equipment to the MIDI output jack and get started. You can use the repeat buttons to expand your performance options as well as of course the chord and hold functions. Five velocity curves shift the emphasis from soft to hard, giving enough choice to cater for any playing style. A fixed option enables velocity values to be set by controls, including the wheels. KEY & PAD REPEAT

Repeat is a fun way to look for ideas and facilitate “happy accidents”, regardless of whether you are adding flams to drum beats or creating big repetitive chord progressions. Pressing the Key and Pad Repeat buttons activates the repeat function, repeating notes at the set rate. Change the rate in real-time from 1/4 – 1/96 note values, change the tempo, add swing and set an accent interval.

Pad and Key Repeat settings are independent of each other, so one can be set for the drum beat and the other for an instrumentation part. The Repeat’s trigger mode can be set to repeat from the point of playing a note or to sync with the beat. Clock source can either be internal or external MIDI clock.

User questions & answers

Question: Integration with the two big professional daws...abelton and pro tools
Answer: It includes Ableton Live (not lite) but not free it's a $50 discount, but despise that the free software package is amazing. Bluetooth drivers for Mac, Windows and iOS Propellerhead Reason Lite, KORG Gadget (Mac and iOS only),KORG Collection - M1 Le ,UVI Digital Synsations , AAS Ultra Analog Session, AAS Strum Acoustic Session, AAS Lounge Lizard Session, Melodics 40 free lesson, Skoove free 1 month trial of Skoove Premium, KORG Module (iOS)
Question: Is there a preset for Sonar
Answer: Yes I havec the nanoKontrol Studio and I use it with Reaper 5 and now Reaper 6, my DAW of choice. If you run into issues, look at this page as sometimes a KORG product will appear not to work but that is because it must be assigned by Windows as a midi port between 0 and 9. https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/articles/115004269166-Windows-is-unable-to-recognize-a-USB-MIDI-device-
Question: Could this be used in any DAW, truly? Aside from the mentioned: Cubase, Logic, and Reason? are the controls, buttons, etc, easily assignable
Answer: There's only one USB port on the unit so you couldn't physically connect two or more together (i.e., there no IN/OUT or MIDI ports). I guess it might be possible via bluetooth in the DAW, but the quick start guide doesn't give any indication of how to do it. You can use the scene buttons to switch between groups of 8 channels. But I realize that's not the same as have 16 or 24 channels at your finger tips. Good luck.
Question: I like a more flat curved fader rather than the upright pointy type. Are the fader nobs easy enough to pull off and change out
Answer: Hi, yes it works without any additional installation of any software. You will need to pair it when you turn it on, and depending on what else you have paired already may require you do it each time. If you can use it with a device that you don't already have Bluetooth pairing on that would be best. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you

Product description

PACER: Hands-free DAW and MIDI Control PACER boosts your creativity by providing hands-free control of your DAW, MIDI guitar soft- or hardware as well as channel- and FX-switching on your trusted analog amp. All integrated into one rugged and stage-ready foot pedal with 10 programmable LED foot switches, 4 switching relays and connections for up to 4 external foot switches and 2 expression pedals. That’s a lot of switching power right at your feet: With just one press of a button, you can send up to 16 MIDI and relay messages to reconfigure a setup instantly. Step up your pace with this powerful MIDI DAW Footswitch Controller! THE POWER OF SWITCHES Pacer’s programming options are extensive. In the most basic state, a switch can send a MIDI message or change a relay state. But being able to send MIDI messages in a sequence of steps, takes the usefulness of a preset to another level. Use one switch to step through program change messages during your song and the other switches are free for FX on/off control. Or switch your amp channel, start playback in your DAW and change program on your effects rack, all by just pressing ONE button within the same preset. Another 16 MIDI messages/relay settings can be programmed for triggering when each of the 24 presets are selected. Whether you are looking for a simple pre-configured solution to control products such as Line 6, Kemper Profiler, Apex and Avid Eleven, want to control your DAW without letting go of your instrument or plan to create your own advanced setups for controlling a live show, PACER does it all. DAW CONTROL OPTIONS Don’t stop the music: PACER is the only true hands-free solution for controlling a DAW and features a complete set of dedicated track and transport controls. For MCU (Mackie Control Universal) compatible DAWs, a Transport preset provides control over Cycle/Loop, Rewind, Forward, Stop, Play and Record. Each switch has its own large icon illuminated by an RGB LED to show the current status. The Track preset controls Solo, Mute, Record Arm and Click. Almost every DAW is compatible with MCU including Able ton Live, FL Studio, Pro Tools or Sonar. Nectar DAW integration provides the highest level of integration with additional options for track and patch selection, customized RGB LED color feedback and in some cases additional functionality. Nectar DAW integration supports Bigwig, Cubase, GarageBand, Logic, Unendow, Reason, Reaper and Studio One. CONTROL CENTER PACER has 10 programmable foot switch controls, each equipped with an RGB LED. Add to that a crisp and large two row LED display, a dedicated switch for Preset recall and an encoder with push switch for programming, navigation and control. So PACER definitely won’t leave you in the dark, figuratively speaking: Depending on the active mode, the top or middle row icons are illuminated. The RGB LEDs in the bottom row display switch status. DISPLAY AND LEDS A red LED display with two rows shows the active preset name/number, mode and selected parameter and value. The data encoder with push switching right next to it makes parameter selection and programming swift and easy. Each switch has its own 3-row RGB activity LED: With functions like “Click” screened in the top row, transport icons in the center and an activity LED at the bottom. LED setting and color are part of a preset and customizable. SWITCHES A-D These switches are fully programmable, but factory assigned with these presets: A: Track preset (for DAW Control) B: Transport preset (for DAW Control) C: Load previous preset D: Load next preset You can reconfigure the switches to send any other function or MIDI message. SWITCHES 1-6 You can program the switches to send MIDI messages, control one of PACER’s 4 relays or to load presets. When DAW Transport or Track functions are assigned, the top and middle row icons are illuminated by default. Worth mentioning is, that each switch can change up to 6 actions simultaneously or in a sequence of presses. That’s a lot of switching power right there! PRESET SWITCH PACER has 24 presets. Any switch can be programmed to select a preset, but pressing and holding “Preset” and then selecting a bank & number is available at any time. As mentioned above, each control within a preset is programmable with up to 6 steps or actions. What’s more, these steps can be sent simultaneously or in a sequence of presses. When you load a preset, up to 16 MIDI-messages or switch states can be sent at the same time: Just one stomp can have a dramatic effect! THE REAR CONNECTIONS PACER’s connectivity features allow you to integrate analog amps with conventional footswitch sockets into your setup just as well as software guitar apps or other MIDI-capable hardware. And with one switch of a button, you can reconfigure your whole setup, with up to 16 MIDI-messages or relay switch states at the same time. POWER PACER is powered via USB or a 9v 600mA center negative power supply (optional). A cable tie keeps everything in place. MIDI OUT The MIDI Out jack can be used to connect to external MIDI equipment or as a USB MIDI interface. EXPRESSION The EXP 1&2 1/4″ TRS jack sockets allow connection of standard expression pedals, such as our NX-P for real-time control. EXT FS 1-4 Connect two footswitch pedals to the 1/4″ TRS jack sockets or four footswitches using y-splitter cables. RELAYS 1-4 4 relays on two 1/4″ TRS sockets for momentary or latching operation. Use for channel or FX switching on a non-MIDI amp. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS USB Class Compliant (no driver needed) works with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 or higher. Mac OS X 10. 5 or higher, Linux (Ubuntu) Nectar DAW Integration: Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 or higher. Mac OS X 10. 7 or higher. User questions & answers

Question: When it says each switch can send 6 sequential commands, does that mean i can use one switch to sequentially trigger different effects in my daw
Answer: We offer templates for using Panorama with Live and Pro Tools but they are not the same as the deep integration we provide for DAWs like Cubase, Reaper, Logic, etc.More information can be found here: Using Panorama with Ableton LiveUsing Panorama with Pro ToolsWhen using these templates, Panorama will always operate in Internal Mode.
Question: How does the pedal connect to the computer? Is there a separate cord
Answer: From their website "Spectacular , deep Reason & Cubase implementations, along with vast MIDI programming options means you can focus on your music instead of the equipment. Set up your generic MIDI presets for instant recall when you need them or use Panorama P1 with Bitwig, Cubase, Logic, MainStage, Nuendo, Reaper or Reason for a completely integrated experience."
Question: Does this pedal works with ableton live
Answer: Yes you can. In a case where it is a DAW that we do not have deep integration the Panorama will work as a general midi controller.
Question: Can anybody direct me to documentation of the Mackie Control for using this with Abelton
Answer: Yes, I easily replaced mine with Mackie style fader knobs. The fader pot shaft is 4mm, so any knob that accepts a 4mm shaft will work.

PACER has 24 presets. Any switch can be programmed to select a preset. Each control within a preset is programmable with up to 6 "steps" or actions. These steps can be sent simultaneously or in a sequence of presses. What's more, an additional 16 MIDI-messages or switch states can be programmed to be sent upon preset loading: So just one stomp can have a dramatic effect and reconfigure your whole setup!

SWITCHES 1 – 6

You can program the switches to send MIDI messages, control one of PACER’s 4 relays or to load presets. When DAW Transport or Track functions are assigned, the top and middle row icons are illuminated by default. Each switch can change up to 6 actions simultaneously or in a sequence of presses. That’s a lot of switching power right there!

SWITCHES A – D

These switches are fully programmable, but factory assigned to the following:

A: Track preset (for DAW control) B: Transport preset (for DAW control)

C: Load previous preset

D: Load next preset

This can be reconfigured to send any other function or MIDI message.

DISPLAY AND LEDS

A red LED display with two rows shows the active preset name/number, mode and selected parameter and value. The data encoder with push switching right below makes parameter selection and programming swift and easy. Each switch has its own 3-row RGB activity LED: With functions like “Click” screened in the top row, transport icons in the center and an activity LED at the bottom. LED setting and color are part of a preset and customizable.

POWER

PACER is powered via USB or a 9v 600mA center negative power supply (optional). A cable tie keeps everything in place.

PACER is USB Class Compliant, so simply connect to your Mac, Windows or iOS device and the operating system takes care of the rest. A Kensington lock connector next to the logo allows you to secure your controller.

MIDI OUT

The MIDI Out jack can be used to connect to external MIDI equipment such as a Kemper Amp or as a USB MIDI interface.

EXPRESSION + RELAYS

The EXP 1&2 1/4″ TRS jack sockets allow connection of two standard expression pedals, such as our Nektar NX-P for real-time control.

Relays: 4 relays on two 1/4″ TRS sockets for momentary or latching operation. Use for channel or FX switching on a non-MIDI amp

EXT. FOOTSWITCHES 1 - 4

Connect two footswitch pedals to the 1/4″ TRS jack sockets or four footswitches using y-splitter cables. You can set PACER to accept momentary, open / closed and latching footswitches.

CONTROL AMPS, SOFTWARE & MORE

PACER does it all: You can use it as a simple pre-configured solution to control devices such as Helix, Profiler, AxeFX or Avid Eleven, control your DAW without letting go of your instrument and create advanced presets for switching a whole live show. Your programming options are extensive: In the most basic state, a switch can send one MIDI message or change a relay state. But you can also send up to 6 MIDI messages in a sequence of steps from one switch. Use one switch to step through program change messages during your song and the other switches are free for FX on/off control. Or switch your amp channel, start playback in your DAW and change a program on your effects rack, all by just pressing ONE button within the same preset.

CONTROL ALMOST ANY DAW!

PACER is the only true hands-free solution for controlling a DAW and features a complete set of dedicated track and transport controls.

MCU mode supports: Almost every DAW is compatible with MCU including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Pro Tools or Sonar.

User questions & answers

Question: Will the launch control xl work with reason running on a mac
Answer: I believe they mean you can send 1-6 commands with a single button click. I don't believe you can send one command with a click, then send a second, different command, with the next click of the same button. But there's always the possibility that you could send a certain MIDI CC command that is interpreted by your DAW in different ways, depending on the DAW's tools and/or scripting.
Question: Can this be used to program sequences in Logic Pro x
Answer: Hi, it connects via USB, you can see the connection in the 2nd picture if you roll over it and use the magnify option. Let us know if you have any other questions, thank you
Question: Will the launch control xl work with reason running on a mac
Answer: It works very well with Ableton Live. You can change from transport controls to standard CC or Note messages. Each foot switch feels great
Question: Will i be able to assign colors if i`m using fl studio? thanks
Answer: Ableton actually recognizes this controller in the MiDI setup menu. The only drawback is that you need to manually set it up in Ableton each time you create a new playlist or set. I have used the Nektar “song” pedals with assigned MIDI notes to move between locators in my Ableton sets. The DAW control interface must be manually setup for play, stop, rewind, fast forward, etc. it’s a bit annoying, but once it’s set, it works perfectly. Check out the you tube tutorials for easy setup.
