User questions & answers

Question: Does it have to be hooked up to anything or can my kids use it to sing along with the radio
Answer: Yes it will
Question: I already have this set and i love it. i would like a second set so we can use 4 mics. can i use two of the same sets
Answer: Great question! You would use the supplied 1/4-inch cable connected to either an 1/8-inch adapter which connects to most computer sound cards. If experiencing latency from your sound card, you may download the ASIO4ALL sound driver to enhance the delay response between signal input and output (latency). Another option would be to purchase a USB audio interface, USB 1/4-inch adapter, or USB audio mixer. These dedicated options would provide much better control and stability than most on-board or stock 'add-on' computer sound cards.
Question: Will this hook into a guitar amplifier
Answer: It gives u a clear radio station and and u put your car on that station n your music should come through the car
Question: Which adapter would I need for connecting to a computer. And, would there be any delays of sound coming from the speakers
Answer: Yes

User questions & answers

Question: Hello , i have d-15 d-16 , how i can buy d13 ( 902.30 ) - d14 ( 903.80 mhz ) ?? can you send me link
Answer: Yes, it will sync up with your router. Just follow the instructions on how to sync the extender to your router. It will probably only take you 2 minutes to get it up and running.
Question: i can use one mic conected in one computer and other conected to another computer at same time and make diferent audio captures
Answer: Yes, if your house is that big. Once you use a Moca device like the Actiontec Bonded MoCA 2.0 Ethernet to Coax Adapter (ECB6200S02) to convert your existing coax cable system to a hardwired ethernet system, you can plug the Actiontec 802.11ac Wireless Network Extender with Gigabit Ethernet & Bonded MoCA (WCB6200Q02) into any Coax Port in your house to extend your wi-fi coverage (as well as two gigabit ethernet ports. Plug as many of the WCB6200Q02 as needed. Hard-wired ethernet throughput averages to roughly 70-85% of the hardwired throughput of the router directly connected to a PC. Wireless coverage is obviously extended to reduce blind spots. A Moca system is far superior to the Homeplug infrastructure.
Question: Frequency of it
Answer: If you are still considering this you should know two things: 1. Xfinity logs into your gateway to disable the MOCA port. If you are planning to use the MOCA adapter on your gateway you will have to log into the router (10.0.0.1 or whatever) to turn it back on. They do that because if you have multiple cable boxes they share DVR information via a MOCA like standard. 2.if you are using your existing home cables and the Xfinity gateway's MOCA port then you should probably install the MOCA filter that is probably suggested on the product page to keep your neighborhood off of your home network.
Question: I would like to order a dual unit, test it out and if it work, then order three more. How do buy two more that don't conflict
Answer: James,Yes, you can use the Actiontec Moca modem to hardwire your computer to it via an Ethernet connection. That is how I use it. Because I do stock market transactions on my computer I wanted a stable and relatively non-hackable connection. But it also supplies a wireless network extension on my ground floor that is powerful and great for my iPhone. It is a remarkable device! My computer, which is a full 300 feet and 2 floors away from my Comcast wireless gateway Moca capable modem delivers the same 90 mbps download speeds with a low 13 ms ping that my upstairs computer gets from Comcast. It can be a little confusing to set up at first, depending on who your ISP is and what kind of modem you have, but once you get it going it works like a dream. One thing you may need to tweak is your splitters if your Coax cable has splitters on the line. You may need to replace them with Moca compatible splitters which have a slightly different frequency filter in them than the ones that come from your Cable Co. Also, understand that if you have a Moca compatible modem from your ISP you won't need the small Actiontec Bonded MoCA 2.0 Ethernet to Coax Adapter (ECB6200S02) at your Internet signal source, but most people don't have this kind of modem. I specifically got one of these from Comcast because they offer it. Actiontec has pretty good explanations on their website, and I believe you can call them with questions, which, if I remember, I did, and they helped a great deal with understanding how to set it up. I have had ZERO problems with this device. It is truly awesome. The alternative for me to get a fast signal to my downstairs office would have involved rewiring my house at huge expense. Wireless extenders made by other companies like Linksys (which I have tried) don't work. I wish I could kiss the guy who invented this technology. It is that good. Good luck!

User questions & answers

Question: Can I add either another handheld or lavalier to the U
Answer: This can be either one RCA cable or two XLR cables
Question: How many cables needed to go to amplifier
Answer: Actually, they are available in different frequency ranges. I recommend you go to Nady.com and download the manual for the nitty gritty details.
Question: Hi, what are the operating uhf frequencies for this u-2100 dual ht system ? 480-504.75 mhz or 505-529.75 mhz ? thank you
Answer: Definitely, that's why we use this system.
Question: Does Autoscan mean that the RX automatically finds open frequencies in a given location that are usable
Answer: This receiver/transmitter needs to be hooked up to an amplifier. The wireless mics send a signal to the receiver/transmitter, which is connected via 1/4" plug in connector. If you want to just transmit thru a radio, there are wireless mics out there that connect thru an fm frequency, but quality is poor. If you go to your local radio shack or music store, someone will be able to show you how the mics hook up.

User questions & answers

Question: Can more than one unit be used at the same time, for 16 mics total
Answer: Hello,This unit does not ship with a universal AC adapter, but the power supply will be adequate for the country it was purchased in. This system will also work with any locally purchased AC adapter with the following output characteristics:Connector: 2.5 mm barrel plugVoltage: 15 VDCCurrent: 400mA minimumPolarity: Positive inside.Best regards, Charlie Denis
Question: Are the handheld microphonesv omnidirectional
Answer: I assume you mean the receiver, not the transmitter. Depends on the control you want on the audio of each channel. Using the SUM unbalanced jack output is like using a pre-mixer of the 8 channels, and you can only control the audio level of each channel on. Using the individual XLR outputs enables you to use all your sound board's EQ's, effects, etc. as if you were connecting up to 8 mics separately. If these functions are not needed, then you might find using the SUM output more convenient in your setup as it only needs one connecting cord to your soundboard.
Question: can this be operated for a 230 V a.c. power supply adapter
Answer: You can plug into anything with a 1/4" input; you would need an adaptor from radio shack that converts to RCA plugs, to plug into your stereo. No bluetooth. But most importantly, who cares what you play it through - the product SUCKS as there is a noticeable time delay between playing the note and hearing it come out the speaker! This makes it impossible to take this product seriously, even (especially?) for the beginner. Buy a cable for $15, or save up $300 to buy the real deal. THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK, I have no idea how this company is still in business! BUYER BEWARE!!
Question: On the octa transmiter, can you run one line to the sound board from the "unbalanced" jack, or do you recommend running one xlr line for every mike
Answer: This cable is identified as the instrument cable (14) in the operating instructions sheet. This part is not labeled with a reference number. You should contact NADY SYSTEMS at [email protected] or by phone at (510)6522411.

Nady Handheld wireless microphone for U-1100 or U-2100 systems - Band A

Nady

Based on 14 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Replacement / extra handheld wireless microphone for Nady U-1100 or U-2100 systems (Make sure to order the right band! )

The Nady U-1100 HT is the handheld wireless microphone to be used with the Nady U-1100 (single transmitter operation) or U-2100 (dual transmitter operation). Ideal for both music and speech, and for interview-style applications, the U-1100 HT features high quality components and delivers clear, crisp audio every time.

Do I need Band A or Band B? The U-1100 and U-2100 systems operate in the UHF range using one or two banks of 100 channels: Band A: 480-504.75 MHz or Band B: 505-529.75 MHz A band A transmitter can only work with a band A receiver (either a U-1100 Band A receiver or channel#1 of any U-2100 receiver) A band B transmitter can only work with a band B receiver (either a U-1100 Band B receiver or channel#2 of any U-2100 receiver)

Here is how to determine the operating band of a system component:

A U-1100 receiver can either be Band A or Band B. To find out which band your receiver is operating on, look at the label at the bottom of the receiver. A U-2100 dual channel receiver is always Band A on channel 1 and band B on channel 2, so there is only one kind of receiver. Choose a Band A transmitter (handheld microphone or bodypack) to pair with Channel 1 of the U-2100 receiver and Band B to pair with Channel 2 of the U-2100 receiver Handheld Microphone Transmitter: Unscrew the battery cap to uncover a silver sticker with the letter A or B indicating which band it operates on. Bodypack Transmitter (LT or GT): Open the battery compartment and look for the letter "A" or "B"

  • Consumer Alert: Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device.

Product description

More flexibility & added protection for your wireless bodypack!

No more clipping your wireless system on your guitar strap sideways and hoping the open-ended clip will keep it there while you are rocking out! Simply put the whole unit, clip and all, right into the Nady Neoprene Pouch and attach it to your guitar strap or belt with either the Velcro wraparound stabilizers, or by sliding it through the belt loop option on the pouch. This is a standard size pouch for most transmitters and receivers with measurements up to 4” x 2.5”.
