It's that familiar, contempo-punk-pop sensibility, bolstered by the amped-up emo-core ambitions of singer Brendan Urie (typified by the snarky gem "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage") that dominates the opening tracks of the album. It's a shrewd hook, one the band steadily expands -- sonically and lyrically -- thereafter. The nervous energy of "London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines" is set off by sonic embroidery that's sounds as intriguing as the vocoder shtick of "Nails For Breakfast..." does dated. Yet "Camisado" quickly shakes up Supertramp's prog-pomp with a double-shot of modern punk-pop smarts, an alchemy the band and producer Mint Squire performs with similarly inventive, genre-blurring ambition (complete with a quasi-Grand Guignol "Intermission" nearly worthy of Queen) on "Lying is the Most Fun..." and such standouts as "But Its Better If You Do" and the arch delight "Build God, Then We'll Talk." The output of the SM57-LC might be problematic, most mics for video cams are condenser shot gun mics with better distance pick up. I used two SM-7's plugged into a camera (high end Sony) to record a musical event (plenty of loud audio) and it worked great.. but I'd be concerned about having enough gain for on camera mounting

Answer:	To answer your question, I will use a quote I read in a recording article from DISCMAKERS: "When recording, such as in a home studio, before buying expensive microphones thinking that will make the difference, start with a standard microphone proven over time such as a Shure SM-58 or SM-57. If you can't get your vocals to sound the way you want with those then their is no reason to spend more for a higher priced microphone."The SM-57 & SM-58 are the basis for not only learning good microphone techniques but for also having a road ready microphone that will last a long time. Not having to buy a microphone because you bought a good one to begin with is money saved.Regarding recording, the SM-57 has a slightly broader frequency range so it is great for many instruments from tom toms to flutes and your voice is right their in the middle of those frequencies. Be sure to work the mike while recording. i.e. move in on the quiet places that sound intimate and back up if belting....not too much though or you can sound like you have dropped out of the mix. This moving forwards and backwards may be a matter of inches. But these suggestions are useful for all mikes. A wind screen for plosives can be helpful as well even though these mikes have built in protection for wind noise and pops but in recording it is especially important and noticeable.Have fun recording. It is my favorite musical activity. This mike may be just what makes you sound the way you dream of sounding BUT be ready to try many different mikes. I know of times when we recorded singers with expensive mikes like $4000+ NEUMANN and yet one of the ladies singing found her sound using a mike that was only in the $300 price range. The point is that every voice has a mike that makes them sound the way they want to sound so don't let an inexpensive price deter you from your hunt for the perfect mike for YOU.
