Answer:	That is a high-pass filter or low cut filter (same thing). It reduces the volume of the lowest frequency sounds which are usually things you don't want anyway like the rumble from when someone bumps the mic stand.

Answer:	No. It is for condenser mics that are threaded on the end of the cable connector. The cable end of the Electro-Voice RE20/320/27ND and the Heil PR40 are not threaded so the adapters that come with this shock mont will not work with these mics. The inner diameter of the adapters is too small to fit around the end of these mics. The mics will sit it the basket of the shock mount allowing the mic to stand straight up. Since there is no way to attach it you cannot angle the mics. All four of these mics are end address mics so this shock mount is not suited for these mics.

Answer:	Absolutely yes, it will fit the Rode. This will fit all standard microphone arms with a 3/8in or 5/8in thread.

Answer:	No, this mount has the standard 5/8 connection, and the Yeti has a 5/8 hole. However, please note that SOME Blue Yetis have an incorrectly sized hole, which means that no mount would fit those Yetis. This is a frustrating and ongoing problem with the Blue Yeti, although it seems to becoming rarer. People have solved this problem directly with Blue, or just by using several layers of plumbers tape around the screw. Please note.. This is a fault with the Yeti microphone, not the shock mount.
Question:	Does this fit all blue yetis
Answer:	It is designed to fit all the different Yeti models. However please note that due to some inconsistencies in the manufacture of the Yeti itself, there is a very small number of microphones that the shock mount won't fit. If you happen to come across this, please note that this is a problem with the Yeti, and not with the mount, and if you encounter it then not even the shock mount made by Blue will fit the microphone. We have suggestions that you can try if you find yourself in this situation, and on top of that we will always refund you if you can't get it to work.

It takes XLR input; not 1/4" jack input.It doesn't have variable gain.It has just 3000 ohm mic impedence.It is designed to add additional gain for existing pre-amps that should already have enough gain for a guitars.Disregarding the above, isn't typical instrument output levels around -20 dBu? The Cloudlifter provides 20 to 25-db of gain, which is designed to bring microphones that output -60 db up to around -40-db; With a guitar already around -20 db, a cloudlifter might push signal output over line level -- I would suspect that there might be distortion as a result. I wouldn't even recommend the Cloudlifter for most condenser microphones for this reason, as they too have a loud output already.Ultimately, I don't know for sure, but I suspect the answer from most people will be no.

Answer:	It's a 2-channel "pre-pre amp" It is not a substitute for a mic preamp. It is used in conjunction with 2 channels of mic preamps which can supply phantom power to this "pre-pre". It is designed to add an additional 25 dB of gain which is useful if one's actual pream has only moderate gain and you are using low output ribbon or dynamic mics. It will not work with a phantom-powered condenser mic or an "active" ribbon mic which require phantom power.

Answer:	This included plug seems highly problematic, as this is a condenser microphone that according to others, requires phantom power, which is in general 48V, and looking at what is in the picture I don’t see where the power would go in. Maybe the included USB converter is doing something? I would not plug that cable into your phone, or for that matter any other device. If you had a Digital interface that supported your phone and supported balanced (xlr) with phantom power, then yeah sure. IK Multimedia makes something like that called iRig Pro which works with Apple, sure there’s something for the rest of the world..
Question:	Before buying just want to know, Is this a usb microphone
Answer:	In short: no. This is an XLR condenser mic which needs to be connected to either a powered mixer or a proper usb audio interface with phantom power. Neither the included cable or the USB audio dongle included are going to work properly. I have no idea why they didn't just omit those things and include a normal mic cable. People complaining about the low volume level of the mic are undoubtedly trying to use it as provided, which is not a proper setup. You'll need an XLR to XLR cable and something like a Focusrite Scarlet or other USB audio interface in order to use this mic properly.
