Answer:	Because the base (receiver) is small and provides the technology for the two microphones to receive their signals. The microphones have a regular size.
Question:	is this the US 25 BD frequency programmed version
Answer:	Not sure what "BD" means but yes, this is the US version, we are using it at Church in the Fellowship Hall and for small settings, not for the Service (this is not a highly professional system, more for a small budget)
Question:	Should I get this one or should I get 2 of the single mic packs
Answer:	I would advice to do your homework check the frequencys on your area! This mics are great, but if you get 2 units make sure they are not the same frequencys or channels. I hope was able to help. The single unit have2 different frequencys.
Question:	hat type cable from this unit to amp? says 1/4 balanced output
Answer:	very simple its a 1/4 output from receiver to what ever input to your amp needs. so there its 1/4 to 1/4 if your amp call for 1/4 input or 1/4 to XLR If your calls for the XLR input. personally i use XLR As its give a better sound over the 1/4. that just's my choice

Question:	What is the difference between a mic with just a cardoid and one with a super cardoid
Answer:	Super Cardioid picks up sound in a narrower cone, for more side rejection, compared to normal Cardioid. If you look online you can find images that illustrate the difference. We can't post those images here or I'd do that for you.

Answer:	My guess is no because usually electret condenser mics a usually used with wireless transmitters. This mic is a dynamic.

Answer:	No. This is a dynamic mic.
Question:	Can it be the replacement for Shure SM
Answer:	The only difference between the two mics is that the shure has a cardioid pattern where the akg is dynamic. I use it in a studio setting for vocals, can't beat it for the price.

Answer:	You can use the either of AKG KM259/5, KM210/6, or KM256/80 mic stand.

Answer:	First of all, the AKG P120 is a condenser microphone so it requires +48V to operate. Computers and laptops do not supply sufficient phantom power for condenser mics. We recommend getting an audio interface, mixer, or mic preamp that supplies +48V phantom power and can be connected to you Macbook's port.
