Answer:	It's very delicate, but it's a real violin. You could start with the Suzuki method and see if the 5 year old likes to play it. If so, you can decide to rent or buy a violin that fits the size of the child as she grows. The price is good as a starter instrument, and the pink color is adorable.

Answer:	This is a small child size violin (3-5 years old). It can only be used with formal violin instruction by a violin teacher. The child can play the strings with the bow but it is not easy to play any tune without violin lessons.

Answer:	Yes that should work well with your audiobooks. As for the Mac laptop I don’t see why not it offers clear recordings for what I use it for.

Yes, this microphone will work through USB with the macOS, Windows OS, most versions of Linux (that I know of), and will work with iOS (iPhone/iPad) devices that can use Apple's camera connection kit (30-pin or Lightning ports) as well as newer ones that use USB-C

Answer:	this is not a omni direction mic where you put it in the middle and you can record everyone, this is a direct to your mouth, pointed right at your face mic (to put it in simplest terms.) if you want a multi host mic where you can set it on the table and everyone can talk "at it" then look for the Yeti mic. .

Question:	Can this mic be used to sing vocals in Rock Band 4 on Xbox One
Answer:	Rode NT-USB USB Microphone - more of a low-end voice over mic, a little more expensive, no issues, sounds very good (I use it for video narration). Probably not as good for Rock Band. I was very excited by the Audio-Technica AT2005USB as I like the "form factor" (much more like all of the normal handheld mic's we have, Shure SM58 type) and that it could also use an xlr cable. When I returned the mic, I was far from the only person experiencing issues with it on usb - perhaps there this issue has been resolved. As I said before, when it worked it sounded great.
Question:	Does this work well for gaming chat? I use Mumble w/ voice activation. Blue Snowball picks up everything including mouse clicks. Would this be better
Answer:	This mic is highly directional. Therefore it does not pick up as much extraneous sound (i.e. mouse clicks, fan noises, etc). The downside is that you must speak right into it. I work about five inches away form it and find it a bit quieter than my Blue Yeti. Sound quality is very good.
Question:	Will this work good for podcasting
Answer:	This is a GREAT mic for podcasting! Many of the top podcastors use and recommend the ATR 2100, but they all say that the AT 2005 looks better. You can just plug it into your computer and use free audio software to record your podcast episodes. It really is that simple to get great sounding audio. The construction is very solid. I have used mine in the heat and humidity of West Africa for almost a year now with no complaints. Mike Phillips, a very reputable expert on microphones, has some great things to say about this mic as well. It is a podcastors must have!

Answer:	This is the big brother. I have both and they are hard to tell apart. The sound it reproduces is a slightly different field than ATR2100. Price would be the discerning factor in a buy, for me.

Question:	How is the AT2020PLUS different from the regular AT
Answer:	I have both. The AT2020 was great for general recording purposes, but for singing or voiceover I do LOVE the monitor jack and the slider. The slider will let you balance what comes into your monitor (your earbuds, headphones, whatever you plug in to the jack) so you can choose how much of the mic versus the PC comes into your ears. This gets important because if you rely on the PC to feed your voice back to you, there is a slight signal delay that can get awkward. You don't have to use the monitor, and it doesn't affect the act of recording. Hope that helps!

Question:	anyone use this for recording singing vocals? thanks
Answer:	Not this one specifically, but I have regularly used large diaphragm DYNAMIC mics much like this one (actually a Shure SM7b) and they work fine on vocals. Its a fairly flat frequency response with a slight bump in the upper midrange, and the proximity effect helps beef up thin sounding vocals. So yes, a quote-unquote "broadcast mic" can work just as well for singing as for spoken word. Don't let anyone tell you different.

Answer:	As some of the others have mentioned, this mic is not what you are looking for but the Blue Yeti is perfect for your needs. The internet is filled with mixed reviews about the Blue Yeti but as someone who has nearly 30 years of experience as an audio engineer, I can tell you that it's a fabulous mic, especially for your particular application. I currently record multi-person podcasts daily using the Yeti in omni mode while hanging overhead for multiple speakers/conversational situations, a Rode Podcaster as the daily driver for one of the on-air personalities and a Shure SM7B for another on-air personality and I'm extremely happy with the performance of all three mics. I also use an Audio Technica AT2020 sometimes when we have an additional guest in the studio.One thing to keep in mind - you will need to understand your workstation and have a plan on how to set up your gear, as the Yeti is a USB mic (unless you get the pro model which takes both XLR and USB) while the AT2020 is an XLR and so on... you get the idea. With these two different formats I often see people purchasing both kinds without first figuring out how they are going to get all these mics to play nicely with one another. Do your homework on how you're going to hook everything up and you should be just fine. Good luck!

YES IT CAN. The seller is incorrect in saying that it will only work with Windows or Mac. It works with any phone with USB-OTG standard. This includes the Samsung S20 (my phone) and the iPhone11 (my daughter's phone) To use with an iPhone you have to have a Lightning->USB adapter, since the included cables can only connect to USB A or C ports. The Audient iD4 is a good budget interface and uses their famous mic pre; some people swear by the Scarlett series and the SSL2+. Answer:	The body of the mic is about 9-inches, but the USB cable connects at the end and realistically you would need 11 inches of clearance with that cable sticking out.

Answer:	Very little. I use a boom arm with a shock mount. Orient the microphone so it isn't aimed toward your mouse or keyboard. I.e., tilt it up, and position it near your mouth. I also have my keyboard on a thin pad to minimize sounds being transmitted from the keyboard to the table underneath.
