Answer:	I'm not sure what diameter you are talking about but all of the attachments are tighten to fit. As for the Shock mount of the stand, I couldn't fit my Blue Yeti mic and had to use the screw on attachment option, which is an okay solution. It fits a regular sized mic about 6-7 inches in circumference. The shock mount is also a squeeze fit mount so anything around that size is safe.

Answer:	Just run to a Best Buy or jump on Amazon to find a micro-USB cord. It's universal, therefore you don't have to use the one that came with it and they are pretty inexpensive. You could even use the one that came with your smartphone (depending upon what kind of phone you have).

Answer:	I use it for Dragon dictation. The mic is great for that purpose, but it's sensitive to external sound sources so I'm not sure it would work with speakers your playing game audio. If you do try it, play around with volume settings to get it right as sometimes too high or low volume affects recognition of commands.

Answer:	I have both. The AT2020 was great for general recording purposes, but for singing or voiceover I do LOVE the monitor jack and the slider. The slider will let you balance what comes into your monitor (your earbuds, headphones, whatever you plug in to the jack) so you can choose how much of the mic versus the PC comes into your ears. This gets important because if you rely on the PC to feed your voice back to you, there is a slight signal delay that can get awkward. You don't have to use the monitor, and it doesn't affect the act of recording. Hope that helps!

Answer:	Using Apple's Camera Connexion Kit for iPad ($26.99), I had no trouble connecting this microphone to my iPad. For your IPad mini, i believe you will need the Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter (MD821ZM/A) ($29). HOWEVER, you should know that the microphone itself does not have a gain adjustment knob, so all the gain adjustment (matching the microphone sensitivity to how loud what you are recording is) must be done in the recording software you are using on the iPad. Many, but not all of the recording apps offer a gain adjustment control (Garage band does), and adjusting the gain in software is not always convenient. Some apps won't let you adjust the gain once you started recording. . . Practically speaking, if this is to record speech, it's a non-issue. On the other hand, if you are recording music (particularly loud music) you may want a "real" gain control knob. As far as I know, the only two microphones that have a gain knob AND work with iPads are the Spark Digital by Blue Microphones, and the Mic by Apogee; they are both $200 microphones. Hope that helps

Answer:	Whoa. The Yeti has the most powerful, full-bodied bass I've heard from any recording mic. If there's a Samson that can compare, it's more likely to be the C01 or the C02U rather than this relatively lightweight, introductory studio mic (which admittedly gets high ratings from pro reviewers). And above the above Samson's (both heavy, well-built mics) are the G-Track models (I'd look seriously at the black Pro version of the G-Track). One knock against the Meteor, which makes some sense to me, is that those built-in tripod legs are not always easy to position. Answer:	Honestly, for an amp you should check out something like the Shure SM57 for starters. That's the number 1 mic people put on a guitar amp, and you can adjust and go from there. People don't normally use a small diaphragm condenser microphone for guitar amps, like the Samson C02. Question:	How are these mics for eliminating echo when shooting film indoors? Will the preamps on a Zoom h4 be adequate
Answer:	I guess it could be Nice, but I am using CO2s mostly for acoustic guitar still can take a much more important level of dB. These are cardioid, so this could be a little tricky to get diaologues... If you already got a unidirectional type of mic... this sure could be a cool choice for miking a stereo more kind of ambiant take. But to be true, I don't know much about how this specific mic (CO2) reacts to these kind of reflections... I'll check out If the specs for the unit and mics are alright!

Answer:	Hopefully this helps. I use one of the microphones to record intros for some online podcasts. The microphone pics up very clearly from a few inches from my mouth to a couple of feet away (overhead). I have nothing but high praises for these mics. The price does not indicate their quality. These are top notch mics.
