Answer:	I don't think so. This is a quality cable that produces transparent microphone audio signals and frequencies. It is possible that your old cable may be affecting your microphone equalization. That said, make sure that your microphone and mixer/ mike preamplifier impedance and audio signal phasing are correct across your entire system.

Answer:	Technically, yes they can, as XLR cables were initially used for DMX transmissions; however in hindsight its worth noting that standard low noise XLRs are designed to transmit electrical (aka audio) voltages, while modern DMX cables are designed to transmit DMX protocol signals, or data. DMX cables are shielded, while XLRs are not. In short, while its possible to utilize standard XLRs for DMX transmissions, the data has a higher risk of being degraded and may cause one or more fixtures to operate erratically, sometimes even damaging the fixture worst case scenario. Audio signals, on the other hand can traverse through a DMX cable, without any issues.

You have to look at the speaker and the mixer/pa you are plugging into to figure out if you need 1/4 phono or Speakon connections to connect the speakers to the power amp or pa mixer you are using.

Answer:	From the Mackie Website: Unbalanced connections use a two conductor, unshielded cable. The cable consists of a signal wire and ground wire. A standard TS instrument cable is the unbalanced cable you will run into most often. The red and white RCA cable used with many AV components is another common example of an unbalanced cable. A balanced cable, by contrast, has two signal wires as well as a separate ground wire. Just like the unbalanced cable, the ground wire wraps around the signal wires serving as a shield against interference. XLR mic cables and 1/4” TRS are the most commonly found types of balanced connectors in live sound. On a balanced cable, the pair of signal wires carries identical copies of the signal on each, except that one of the wires is 180 degrees out of phase with the other. 6 PACK of Professional Series Noise Free Mic Cables. They have a thick, high quality, flexible rubber jacket. They are heavy duty Noise Free "True Balanced LO-Z" and have 3 pin XLR connectors on each end. These cables have dual insulated copper conductors plus they are shielded. They are hand wired & hand soldered and have high quality metal ends. They have a double strain relief on each end (internal Tri-Grip and external rubber booty). As you can see in the above picture, the female locking end has a rubber grommet. This allows the cable to snap into place without being loose and sloppy like most other cables you may find. This 6 PACK comes with 6 different colors as shown.

Answer:	I’m not sure how the Mogami’s are but I got these for live recording for the church and as of now they were of good quality.

Answer:	I am sorry - I don't know. I really like them though - no hiss and very clean sound.

Answer:	As the listing indicates, the size of the wires is 21 gauge. Most microphone cables on the market are 22 or even 24 gauge.
