User questions & answers
Question: | Will this work for bass guitars as well |
Answer: | Absolutely! |
Question: | Will this cable work specifically with an Ibanez IBZ10B Rehearsal Rig 10-Watt Electric Bass Guitar Combo Amp and a JAY TURSER MODEL JT-220/VS VINTAGE SUNBURST SETNECK LP GUITAR |
Answer: | I have never seen musical equipment (electric) that did not use a 1/4" cable. Some components made for home stereos or vocals use RCA jacks or 3 prong round jacks (I forget the name of the common mic jacks!), but 1/4" is standard for guitar, bass, and universal equipment. So they should work. |
Question: | Is this a "stereo" cable, i.e., correct for connecting a foot controller (e.g., Roland GA-FC) to a combo amp (e.g., Roland GA |
Answer: | Hi and thanks for your question! After doing a bit of research into foot controllers such as your Roland GA-FC, I would have to advise the no, this cable would NOT be correct for connecting such a device, as it does not have the required 1/4" TRS-style phone plugs you would need. Rather, it has standard, MONO 1/4" plugs, such as you would use to plug an electric guitar into a practice amp.Hope this helps! Thanks for asking! |
Question: | Will this cable work with a Fender Strat Squier |
Answer: | It's a standard guitar cable. Should work on any electric guitar |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will these work for ukuleles |
Answer: | Have never played a ukulele before. It surely does work with an acoustic electric guitar, so if the ukulele has the same sized jack outlet it might work. |
Question: | Are these cables stereo or mono |
Answer: | Mono. For stereo cables, you'll want "TRS" cables |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will the right angle fit recessed guitar jacks? like on a telecatser or others where a right angle wont totally "click" into place |
Answer: | The right angle plug is in a hard plastic case. When plugged into a recessed jack, it will easily push itself out with any motion at all. And even on flat jacks (that are mounted on the side of a guitar) I personally do not like the idea of the strain it places on the cable since it is fixed at an angle. For jacks mounted on top (near the volume/tone knobs) an angled plug is perfect and wouldn't have anything else. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do these cables have low capacitance, and can they be twisted |
Answer: | Yes it does have low capacitance and very low noise with strong solid cable wire can stand twisted tight hookups. |
Question: | Do these fit all mxr pedals?? -thanks |
Answer: | Not sure about all, but I have an MXR compressor pedal and they fit perfectly. I would assume MXR would use all the same jacks. I am very pleased with these cables. Allows you to get your pedals closer and save a lot of space on the pedal board |
Question: | is this a pack? how many cables are included |
Answer: | Yes, this is a pack, and typically 5 cables are included |
Question: | I want to cram an extra pedal on my board and need to know the dimensions. How far does the pancake stick out when the cable is plugged in |
Answer: | The "Pancake" is 1/4" thick. Thanks for your interest! Y2PLAY Stores - 1-800-695-4808 |

User questions & answers
Question: | hi!...i need a switch that will allow me to connect 2 guitars to one amplifier input...essentially two guitars in with the capability to switch either of the two inputs to one output...will this footswitch do that?...or what would you recommend?...thanks |
Answer: | It will not work for that purpose. What you need is an A-B switch. 2 inputs and one output. The switch controls which input. There are some specifically made for guitar. If not made for musical instruments sometime switching them at high volume will make a loud pop, annoying and possibly damaging to your speakers. |
Question: | Can this pedal be Plug in to audio interface that is connected to GarageBand |
Answer: | Depends on your interface and if it has an option for foot-switches, most don't. You'd probably be better off with a MIDI footswitch. |
Question: | Will this footswitch work with a gallien krueger 250 ml |
Answer: | According to the description given in the gallien krueger 250 ml manual of the foot switch that works with it, this hosa foot switch should work. Keep in mind this foot switch does not include the 1/4in (stereo) trs cable needed to connect the switch to the amp. Although I don't think the pic is the clearest be aware that the hosa switch also does not have LED lights to tell you when a switch is on or off. |
Question: | does it works with boss rc |
Answer: | if it's for tap delay pulse, it doesn't. if it's for holding a loop it might. the Hosa has latching buttons. I know it doesn't work with a Tap Delay Pedal since you need rhythm pulsing, with a loop I deduce one stomp would start recording and another stomp would end it (whereas with a unlatching pedal, you'd have to hold it depressed while the loop is recorded and let go to cut it off) Either way you can buy theses switches and turn it into an unlatching footswitch: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006M4ZGOI/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would this work in a keyboard? I bought a pedal for my keyboard but the jack is too big, so I wanted to get this |
Answer: | If your keyboard's input for the pedal is 1/8" and your pedal's jack is 1/4" then this adapter should be all you would need. You could also consult the keyboard's manufacturer to determine the appropriate pedal to use. Thank you for your interest! Y2PLAY Stores - 800-695-4808. |
Question: | I'm thinking about using this with a mini headphone amplifier for a guitar. Some say the amp doesn't fit snugly to guitar. Will this work |
Answer: | I accidentally ordered this item, as in meant to order something else similar too it. But when I got the product, there was nothing that was loose that would make me think it wasn't perfectly good for what it should be used for. |
Question: | Can I use this to connect my 1/4" (6.3mm) mic to a cellphone or tablet and record my voice using a voice recorder app |
Answer: | I doubt it, most cellphones and tablets have 4 pole connectors and you need something with a dedicated mic input to use a standalone mic with. This is only a three pole adapter and the poles would not match up to the fourth pole mic input on the phone. |
Question: | Would this allow me to record music with my guitar |
Answer: | It will allow you to plug your guitar into a line in port on your computer. However, to record, you'll need a few other things. You will need software that can receive sounds from your line in port. Also, a guitar's sound needs to go through an amp to sound good, so you will need something to process the sound from the guitar. There may be software tools to do this, but in the past I have used the Line 6 Guitar Port: http://www.amazon.com/Line-6-GuitarPort-XT/dp/B0000AJQ42. Good luck! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do you ship to UK |
Answer: | The scale length is 17 inches, the overall length of the instrument is 26 inches. It is a sweet sounding ukulele, buy it. Order a gig case to protect it. |
Question: | How often do i need to use this |
Answer: | This is acoustic, no electronics. I bought a Snark tuner which I clip on to tune it. It is a pretty good uke for the price. |
Question: | Is this price for the single 4 oz bottle, or is this a case of bottles |
Answer: | Laminate. Good sweet sound. Pure slices are going to be a lot more expensive. Good luck. |
Question: | Can i spray this directly on the microphone? or the microphone has to have a protector? would it affect the mic. if i spray it directly |
Answer: | A tenor does have deeper tones and sounds more like a guitar. A soprano has a lighter, "plinkier" sound that sounds like a ukulele. I have soprano, concert, and tenor ukes and I find the soprano better suited to "20s & '30s music like "Toot, Toot, Tootsie" and "Ain't She Sweet". The tenor better for slower, prettier songs and ballads. Iz's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/Wonderful World" (in 50 First Dates and others) was played on a tenor uke. Some find that a larger size uke is better/easier for their fingers (you don't have to get your fingers placed as accurately and aren't in as much danger of overlapping another fret) and some prefer the soprano size because there is less stretching. For example, I find that fast songs are easier on a soprano because I can just move my fingers and don't have to re-position my hand as much. Some people like the concert size since it's in between and you get the best of both worlds. All three are strung the same way (the Baritone size is tuned differently) so if you can play one you can play them all, with surprisingly little adjustment! Go to a music store and try out the different sizes to see which suits you best. Enjoy! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would this work on a boss katana 50 to switch tween channel 1 and 2 and what powers it |
Answer: | Very, and accepts various colored lenses. Remember, power is relevant to the size of the room, but it has a good reflector and I use four of them around a mirror ball. I have a different color lens in each. There is a 4-pack of lenses available on amazon too, Red, Blue, yellow, and green. |
Question: | Will it work on a keybosrd to hold a note |
Answer: | Yes. Motor has ring that folds out to hang inverted. And motor has power cord and not only battery powered like the cheaper ones. Great for smaller area's. If you want to cover large dance floor or room go with 12" or larger. This was right out of the box with an extra pin spot added. https://www.facebook.com/1404775679813577/photos/pb.1404775679813577.-2207520000.1460939807./1578389062452237/?type=3&theater |
Question: | Will this work as a subwoofer bypass switch |
Answer: | Yes, you have to plug the light in and unplug it for each use, as there is no switch on it. The ball has an on/off switch to make it rotate and is battery operated. |
Question: | I bought this as a on/off switch for my condenser mic. I didn’t realize in only had an input and no output. How do I plug in my mic and then continue |
Answer: | When I ordered, it came with the pinspot and color gels. The color gels are really plastic caps that fit in front of the lamp. And they reduce the light a lot. If you are planning on using one of the darker colors, you will need to place the lamp very close to the ball. For example if you use the blue color, the lamp will need to be within 8ft of the ball. |
