Stand-Mountable

The B215XL is perfect either as part of a PA system or as an onstage monitor. If the situation calls for a PA, mount the speakers on stands via the 35mm pole socket. From there, send a line from the MAIN OUT of a mixer (such as a XENYX 1202FX) to a power amplifier (like the EUROPOWER EP1500). Finally, attach B215XL to each of the amp's outputs. These loudspeakers have inputs for both professional speaker cable and 1/4-inch cable. Because these loudspeakers have two parallel inputs, you can connect up to two of them to any channel on a power amp.

But they don't have to be confined to an upright position. Just lay them on their sides for use as a floor monitor. You'll find that they tilt to the ideal angle for onstage monitor wedge applications.

Answer:	no these are passive, non-powered speakers

Answer:	I don't think these speakers were made to be hung, they are pretty heavy (approx. 40-45 lbs.). I only place them on the floors, very sturdy shelves or Heavy Duty Tri pod speaker stands. There's really nothing to hang up with except two built in carry handles on both sides in the back. See the back picture of the Behringer Eurolive B215D speaker. Maybe you could get your own idea on how you want to hang a 45 lb speaker. If I was to really hang this speaker, I probably use a good heavy rope and just hang up from the handles. Good luck.

Answer:	It has combo inputs, so you shouldn't need an adapter at all to use a 1/4" mono cable as your input.

Answer:	Because it is a stereo signal and a mono jack the signal gets messed up. You need a 1/8th inch (headphone jack) to DUAL mono 1/4 inch. Plug those into inputs 1 and 2 and turn the channels up equally. Then it will sound fine.

Answer:	No, it is not battery-powered.

Answer:	The faceplate and top is one piece plastic but looks like anodised aluminium, hard to tell the difference. The rest of the case is metal. The overall construction is very solid and looks and feels great.

Answer:	They have a class A amp with minimal ventilation, so they will definitely get warm/hot. Class D based monitors with this feature set will add another hundred or so to the price. I've left mine on for ~36 hours (weekends) in my garage a few times now - they definitely heat up but I haven't had any failures. I also gig with this, so overall I'd say they hold up pretty well.

Answer:	No, it is passive, and receives its power from an amplifier via a Speak-on connection. If your amplifier only has a 1/4" jack, you can buy a cable that has a 1/4" jack into amplifier and Speakon cnx on the other end. I'm out of town at the moment, don't recall if it's M or F.

Answer:	This is a powered speaker that sits on the floor, not on a stand. It is tilted at an angle to direct the sound up and out, which makes it useful by design for any musician or singer, or subgroups of same on stage, to hear their output without using headphones, and is powerful enough to cut through the volume of the main speakers. This does not mean its use is limited to that purpose; it can be directed to the audience instead of the performers with the intent of serving in place of generally larger main speakers in smaller venues, whether inside or outside. Because this particular speaker is self-powered rather than being powered by a separate amplifier, its output volume can be controlled right at the unit or in conjunction with a separate mixer and/or DI box. It should not be hooked up on a powered circuit from a separate amplifier. Most decent amplifiers have both powered amplified and unamplified terminals, which use different types of speaker cables. Make sure you understand the three basic types: instrument cables, unpowered speaker and powered speaker, as they are all constructed differently and generally should not be interchanged.

Answer:	In a small room, you will experience feedback noise when your volume is high because the sound will easily bounce from walls and ceiling and feedback to the microphone. When I moved to a larger area, feedback noise did not appear even at max. volume. So volume level needs to be adjusted depending on the area you are using. I love this thing!!

Answer:	Not familiar with the b15x bluetooth, but looking online, it appears there is a "MIX OUT" connector on the back of the b15. It appears if you use a XLR cable, you can connect the "MIX OUT" of the b15x to the input of the B1800XP. This should allow both speakers to work together. The B1800XP is not bluetooth enabled on it's own.

Answer:	Any Bluetooth device will work with this speaker. From your cell phone to your lap top. USB.....ehhhhhhhh That doesn't really matter. It's a USB cabled device. If you are looking to Bluetooth more than on device to this speaker I advise against it. (ie a separate Bluetooth in addition to the built in Bluetooth) The built in Bluetooth range is better than 75 feet. DO NOT BUY THE WIRELESS MICROPHONE FOR THIS SPEAKER!!!! Go spend a little more money and buy a good wireless microphone. Or if you prefer a wired mic, get good mic cables. The $10 specials will go bad with no warning and for no reason.

Answer:	Not sure about the experience of others, but I’ve had zero issues with the two I own. I do mobile DJing at sporting events and choose these since they are inexpensive and they sound good for the price. Are the high end, no. But for active speakers, I am satisfied.
