User questions & answers
Question: | What size bag would hold this stand or 2 of this stand |
Answer: | Hi, you need around 40 to 50 inches bag. You may check other details of the unit by visiting our website pyleaudio.com. Type the model number on the search box PSTND2 for more details. Thank you. |
Question: | Leg housing is made of metal or plastic? is it strong enough |
Answer: | strong enough for anything that I throw at it. the only plastic on the tripod are the tightening handles and clamp for extension. there is a steel pin to hold the height of the pole. |
Question: | I bought this stand and next to the hight adjustment knob there is a small pin on a chain connected to it. What is this for? Am I missing something |
Answer: | It is recommended to use this pin rather than rely on the adjustment knob whenever possible. The weight of the speaker can cause the grip action of the adjustment knob to eventually wear out and be able to slip. Using the pin simply eliminates this from happening, and is also extra safety measure when the speaker is in place, especially for a fairly heavy speaker. |
Question: | Can you recommend an extension pole so that I can increase the total height |
Answer: | Hey, just order the equipment built with extra height, instead of trying to rig up something DANGEROUS that will FAIL. Select these eight-foot speaker stands if you really need the height: https://www.amazon.com/Pyle-Universal-Speaker-Stand-Holder/dp/B0037GXRHM/ref=pd_cp_267_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000E0PPG0&pd_rd_r=e3b0c228-b787-11e8-a07a-dda09ccf66a1&pd_rd_w=uRJbg&pd_rd_wg=3Jya3&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=4703501037029541779&pf_rd_r=QPHNCA19VNRC5SXN9PAZ&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&refRID=QPHNCA19VNRC5SXN9PAZ&dpID=41QSAuZJasL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=detail&th=1 |

Question: | Can I use a electric Bass Guitar |
Answer: | I'm still confused about this too.At the back of the speaker, below the power switch, it says this:100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 180WFUSE: T 3.15A H 250VBut on the box there is a range of voltages listed (100 V, 120 V, 220 V, 230 V, 240 V) and there's a sticker beside 120 V, and a bar code and number beside it. So maybe the manufacturer produces various versions of this speaker with different voltages? And this particular one I have is 120 V?I checked the manual and under power supply / voltage (fuses) it lists the following info:USA/Canada: 120 V~, 60 Hz (T3.15A H 250 V)UK/Australia: 240 V~, 50 Hz (T3.15A H 250 V)Europe: 230 V~, 50 Hz (T3.15A H 250 V)Japan: 100 V~, 50/60 Hz (T3.15A H 250 V)Power consumption: max. 180 WattsMains connection: Standard IEC receptableDoes that mean they sell different versions of this speaker model depending on the region? I don't know. I emailed Behringer to ask. |
Question: | Can this be easily used in Australia with 240v power supply? What would I need |
Answer: | You have to do that through the rear, all the connections from the front is input based, so that you can connect your line in, be it a microphone, iPod or media player but from the rear, there are two cannon connections, one is designed as a line-out and the second is for looping through a couple of them together, just incase you have a few units to be used all at the same time. So whichever device, you'll love to capture the audio output with, just make sure it has a cable interface with a basic 3pin cannon plug connector, then you connect it to the line-out (not the second connector as that is an input only for looping multiple units together) then the signal will be recorded sweetly. If you are using multiple speakers maybe like 3 or 4 units looped together, then you must connect the recorder to the last speaker box in the loop as the line-out will be free for tethering any recorder. I hope this helps! |
Question: | How would I hook up a hard disc recorder for recording thru this |
Answer: | Not that we could find. There were a couple of soft cases at about $80+ each that claimed to fit them. But there was nothing nothing that would suit our purpose - we needed something pretty robust because we ship our units to events with UPS Ground. We purchased four of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CBY2EIO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 and added a quick and dirty customized foam interior to protect the speaker and accommodate the wireless mike system and amp connecting cable etc. We found that we should have added reinforcing tape around the top of the cases to cover and strengthen the hinge areas. We actually use the amp within the box with the box on its side and the lid open. One of the staff picked a unit up by grabbing the lid and it caused the case to split slightly down the side of the hinge. Heavy-duty reinforced tape fixed the problem and we subsequently added the reinforcement to all the boxes. So far so good. The units have survived a return UPS trip from NH to TX and look to be in good shape and the amps etc. were all in good shape. For shipping we tape around the body so the units can't come open. Been very impressed by the speaker system itself. More than adequate for presentations in 200+ seat rooms. In a 100+ seater we have to drop the volume right down. |
Question: | Is there some type of carrying case available for the unit |
Answer: | No, they mount directly on standard speaker stands. |

EUROLIVE B205D
The ultra-compact B205D packs 150 Watts of amazing Class-D sound into a speaker system so light, you can mount it on a mic stand and aim it right at your ears – for the perfect personal monitor. But don’t let the small size fool you – the B205D cranks out truckloads of high-quality sound; more than enough to serve as a PA system for your more intimate gigs and meetings – and it comes packed with features that will simply blow you away.
The Secret to Amazing Sound
Thanks to our revolutionary Class-D amplifier technology and internal switch-mode power supplies, not only does the B205D sound incredible, but it weighs considerably less than most competing active loudspeakers. The state-of-the-art amplifications system pumps out 150 of the cleanest, punchiest Watts you’ve ever heard, and you can link additional active loudspeaker systems via the handy Thru socket. The built-in 3-channel mixer accepts XLR, TRS and RCA inputs, plus channel 1 features a switchable instrument-ready input – no DI required! A dedicated 3-band EQ (Low/Mid/High) provides simple, yet effective tonal control.
Put the Sound Where You Want It
Space limitations often make it impossible to place full-sized monitor wedges where they can do the most good – and passive monitors require lots of external amplifiers and processing gear to function properly. All this adds up to even more gear to move, and if you don’t know what you’re doing, you can easily damage passive monitors by applying too much, or worse, too little power to them. With the B205D we’ve taken all the guesswork out, giving each loudspeaker its own 150-Watt, Class-D amplifier specifically designed as the perfect mate for the custom-engineered 5.25" neodymium driver.
Custom-Engineered Drivers
Let’s face it; the drivers (otherwise known as speakers) are the only part of a sound system you actually hear. So when it comes to ours, we don’t cut any corners. While some of our competitors outsource theirs, we custom-design and build our speakers from scratch. We wind our own voice coils, process the paper pulp into cones and even machine our own speaker back plates and frames. This enables us to control the quality, keep production costs down and frankly, to make better components. The premium-grade, full-range 5.25" neodymium driver was designed specifically, and optimized solely for use in the B205D.
Value
The EUROLIVE B205D is the ideal PA/monitor system solution for those occasions calling for high-quality sound – with minimal gear. We dare you to compare the B205D to the competition for sound quality, for its professional features – and for its amazingly affordable price.

User questions & answers
Question: | how to plug into speakers |
Answer: | It's not a "powered mixer" you have to plug the main output into an amp then the speakers into the amp. Or plug the main output into "powered speakers" like krk rokit 8's. |
Question: | How much time does it work on batteries |
Answer: | The manual that comes with it says 4 hours. Are there any owners who have real world experience with battery life? |
Question: | This mixer can hold up to 4 mics, correct? I'm looking for something to use in group discussions |
Answer: | This sound board has 5 XLR phantom powered inputs. Therefore, you may have up to five microphones using this type of input cable. In addition to this, you have 1/4" cable inputs, and RCA inputs for extra mic's, or sound from other devices, such as your computer or a CD player. For these reasons, this board makes a great tool for doing group discussions. |
Question: | what is the difference between the 1002b and the |
Answer: | Quite a bit of difference. The amount of XLR connections available, the 1002B has 5 compared to the 2 available on the 1002. There are 2 monitor/fx sends on the 1002B as to 1 on the 1002. All of the channels have EQ on the 1002B, the 1002 does not. The 1002B uses slider faders for the channels as compared to rotary faders on the 1002. The 1002B utilizes a power switch to turn the mixer on/off, the 1002 does not have a power switch. The 1002B offers the option of using batteries to power the mixer for portable use, not the 1002. I could not find anything about the 1002 shipping with rack ear adapters. The 1002B came with rack ears making installation in my gear rack a breeze. All of these observations are from me looking at the images on the Behringer website for the 1002 as I do not own one. I do own the 1002B. Hope this helps with your decision. |

User questions & answers
Question: | can you have the wireless mic and the blue tooth work at the same time |
Answer: | I am not sure you can add an additional Behringer wireless mic. |
Question: | Do I need a special adapter to add a second behringer microphone? Which microphone do I purchase for this |
Answer: | I use the microphone that came with the unit, however you can use any headset microphone you wish, there are two inputs and a Bluetooth input for a total of 3. You would be subbing out the included wireless mic for your own headset. I have no real recommendations for a headset microphone as it is very dependent upon your price point. I have 3 different headsets, the Shure ($300) is the most reliable, but also the most expensive of what I own. I also own a Rockport UHF dual headset, which is the most bang for the buck ($74) and a Nady VHF headset ($49) which is dropout prone. Stay away from VHF is my biggest recommendation. This unit is phenomenal, you could perform anywhere in the world with it due to its extreme portability. A wireless headset WILL tether you to needing a power source. |
Question: | Can I use a headset mic in place of handheld? If so, any recommendation on a wireless beltpack that's compatible |
Answer: | Yes it can . Covered in manual . Pair one device to your Bluetooth source and it becomes the master . Link second speaker to first speaker within speakers Bluetooth interface (linking takes couple of minutes - wait ) . The second speaker becomes slave. Master process stereo left ; slave processes stereo right |
Question: | Can this be paired with 2nd identical unit |
Answer: | Not bluetooth, but does do wireless with Behringer's "wireless stick" and their mics. works great and handles two mics per speaker. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Bass sound good? Fit any speaker stands |
Answer: | You could set the speakers on a shelf that would be ~14" deep and hold at least 15# each speaker. Wireless connection to the speakers is not possible. The mixer can be connected, e.g. To an iPad via Bluetooth and to wireless microphones via an included dongle. |
Question: | Can I mount the speakers to the wall and connect to the sound board wirelessly |
Answer: | It comes with the speaker cords, but ours did not have the microphone. |
Question: | Does this come with the necessary cords and with the microphone in the picture |
Answer: | Yes there are left and right audio Jack's that will serve that purpose |
Question: | Can a CD player be hooked up to this and will it allow for the playing of split track cd's |
Answer: | If amazon takes then back I would try that route. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Each or both mics make humming/screeching noice When both mics turned on the same time? Thanks |
Answer: | They won't interfere with each other but EVERYTHING in the world around them will interfere with them. I got these and took them to a couple shows and they were absolutely AWFUL. They were 5 feet from the transmitter and still cut out due to the wireless frequencies in the building and changing channels couldn't resolve. They worked fine at home, but once I took them out in public around more wifi - they fell flat on their face. I can't express how terrible these performed. |
Question: | Will it be interference when using both microphones turned on for karaoke singing? i found 2 answers- 1 said yes & 1 said no |
Answer: | No it can't. You need the Behringer ULM 202 usb. https://www.amazon.com/BEHRINGER-PA-System-Black-ULM202USB/dp/B00HRKWSAQ/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=behringer+usb+mic&qid=1559281990&s=gateway&sr=8-3 |
Question: | Can ulm302mic be used with any other speakers having usb drive facility |
Answer: | Depend upon battery recommend using rechargeable ones |
Question: | how many hours will the batteries last? 10- 12 hours |
Answer: | I don't know I purchased the set, try Behringer web site |

User questions & answers
Question: | Has anyone tried using a USB mic with this |
Answer: | Yes and no. We've used it for vocals in a band that did many different formats. More as a monitor than a amp though. It's loud, but it's not massively loud. |
Question: | Has anyone used this for vocals in an R&B band and if so how did it perform |
Answer: | Yes, standard power cord like a desktop computer or any other piece of sound equipment (3 prong grounded). You can play audio with a flash drive through the USB plug OR you can plug an mp3 player (or laptop, phone, etc) into the "CD INPUT" using a 3.5mm to stereo rca cable (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=3.5mm+to+rca&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3A3.5mm+to+rca)Hope that helps! It's a nice speaker (best of all it's super portable). You can also save a few bucks and buy the Behringer EUROLIVE B205D. It's the same 150 watts only in a 5.5inch speaker, no usb input (if you don't plan on using that!) and 2 XLR-1/4" inputs instead of 3. |
Question: | Does this have a standard power cord that plugs into the wall? Can you hook an external mp3 player up to it easily? HOw is that done |
Answer: | I checked both guitar center and amazon. make sure to check the warranty prices |
Question: | How do I buy it |
Answer: | Yes. You need the patch chords that should come with it. We transferred it easily to the TV. |
