Answer:	It has combo inputs, so you shouldn't need an adapter at all to use a 1/4" mono cable as your input.

Answer:	Because it is a stereo signal and a mono jack the signal gets messed up. You need a 1/8th inch (headphone jack) to DUAL mono 1/4 inch. Plug those into inputs 1 and 2 and turn the channels up equally. Then it will sound fine.

Stand-Mountable

The B215XL is perfect either as part of a PA system or as an onstage monitor. If the situation calls for a PA, mount the speakers on stands via the 35mm pole socket. From there, send a line from the MAIN OUT of a mixer (such as a XENYX 1202FX) to a power amplifier (like the EUROPOWER EP1500). Finally, attach B215XL to each of the amp's outputs. These loudspeakers have inputs for both professional speaker cable and 1/4-inch cable. Because these loudspeakers have two parallel inputs, you can connect up to two of them to any channel on a power amp.

But they don't have to be confined to an upright position. Just lay them on their sides for use as a floor monitor. You'll find that they tilt to the ideal angle for onstage monitor wedge applications.

Answer:	no these are passive, non-powered speakers

Answer:	I don't think these speakers were made to be hung, they are pretty heavy (approx. 40-45 lbs.). I only place them on the floors, very sturdy shelves or Heavy Duty Tri pod speaker stands. There's really nothing to hang up with except two built in carry handles on both sides in the back. See the back picture of the Behringer Eurolive B215D speaker. Maybe you could get your own idea on how you want to hang a 45 lb speaker. If I was to really hang this speaker, I probably use a good heavy rope and just hang up from the handles. Good luck.

Answer:	I'm still confused about this too.At the back of the speaker, below the power switch, it says this:100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 180WFUSE: T 3.15A H 250VBut on the box there is a range of voltages listed (100 V, 120 V, 220 V, 230 V, 240 V) and there's a sticker beside 120 V, and a bar code and number beside it. So maybe the manufacturer produces various versions of this speaker with different voltages? Question:	Can this be easily used in Australia with 240v power supply? What would I need
Answer:	You have to do that through the rear, all the connections from the front is input based, so that you can connect your line in, be it a microphone, iPod or media player but from the rear, there are two cannon connections, one is designed as a line-out and the second is for looping through a couple of them together, just incase you have a few units to be used all at the same time. So whichever device, you'll love to capture the audio output with, just make sure it has a cable interface with a basic 3pin cannon plug connector, then you connect it to the line-out (not the second connector as that is an input only for looping multiple units together) then the signal will be recorded sweetly. If you are using multiple speakers maybe like 3 or 4 units looped together, then you must connect the recorder to the last speaker box in the loop as the line-out will be free for tethering any recorder. I hope this helps!
Question:	How would I hook up a hard disc recorder for recording thru this
Answer:	Not that we could find. There were a couple of soft cases at about $80+ each that claimed to fit them. But there was nothing nothing that would suit our purpose - we needed something pretty robust because we ship our units to events with UPS Ground. We purchased four of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CBY2EIO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 and added a quick and dirty customized foam interior to protect the speaker and accommodate the wireless mike system and amp connecting cable etc. We found that we should have added reinforcing tape around the top of the cases to cover and strengthen the hinge areas. We actually use the amp within the box with the box on its side and the lid open. One of the staff picked a unit up by grabbing the lid and it caused the case to split slightly down the side of the hinge. Heavy-duty reinforced tape fixed the problem and we subsequently added the reinforcement to all the boxes. So far so good. The units have survived a return UPS trip from NH to TX and look to be in good shape and the amps etc. were all in good shape. For shipping we tape around the body so the units can't come open. Been very impressed by the speaker system itself. More than adequate for presentations in 200+ seat rooms. In a 100+ seater we have to drop the volume right down.

Depending on how much bass you require, both speakers would require subwoofers for chest thumping bass. However, as a single full range speaker the VP1520 will have a better sound.

Answer:	The Behringer B115D delivers clear powerful sound. I'm quite pleased and I haven't had to turn the volume beyond the 50% as yet. I personally use it for DJing at parties and wedding receptions, however I've seen this system used by live bands. This would be a great fit for live sound events

Answer:	You can daisy chain them to your hearts content!! they have 2 inputs and and 1 mixed output of them both together. The levels/gain and EQ settings are not passed through. Got a pair of them and daisy chain them when I do a simple iPod/MP3/Laptop hook up to them but also use them isolated for djing. GREAT SET OF SPEAKERS!!!!! Treat them right and they will work great for you!

Question:	Can you get a wireless mic to work with this speaker
Answer:	Make sure all of your equipment is properly connected. Do not use a device that removes the ground on power cords. I had a computer power supply plugged in with a ground eliminating adapter and it created a lot of buzz. I set the volume, treble, and bass all to 12:00 on the speakers.
Question:	too much hiss,how can i eliminate the hiss
Answer:	Depends on the job. Technically speaking one of these speakers has enough punch to be way more than audible in a medium theater (50'x40' stage, 300 seat house) at about 1/3 volume. I own three of these speakers that I use for my full DJ rig, but if there's some retreat, a beach party, a workshop day, or something that just needs a bit of ambiance music (requires only an iPod and some way to project the track) I'll bring one of these in and adapt 1/8 stereo to 1/4 mono through a DI box and the end result is fantastic. If you're DJ-ing indoor dance floors or something where coverage, volume, and quality are all concerns and your paycheck is one the line, then you'll probably want to go for two speakers to reduce dead-space on the floor.
Question:	is it a necessity to purchase a pair or does one get the job done
Answer:	I run my Android phone to it from the phone's headphone jack. However, as I learned after purchasing the speaker, you cannot run the full (stereo) signal back to the Behringer. Answer:	"Self-amplified" speakers are known in the business as "ACTIVE" speakers. Even if you don't read the product descriptions carefully, you can tell the difference from the pictures: active speakers need their own power, so in addition to the usual audio jacks, you'll see a power input, a power switch/button and a volume knob. Passive speakers (like this one) will only have audio jacks -- the power and volume are provided by an external amplifier.

Answer:	You could set the speakers on a shelf that would be ~14" deep and hold at least 15# each speaker. Wireless connection to the speakers is not possible. The mixer can be connected, e.g. To an iPad via Bluetooth and to wireless microphones via an included dongle.
Question:	Can I mount the speakers to the wall and connect to the sound board wirelessly
Answer:	It comes with the speaker cords, but ours did not have the microphone.
