| Answer: | The KC-400 has no built-in reverb or any other effects, and no send/receive for adding an effects loop, but this can be mitigated with the use of something like a Roland Voice Transformer. The KC-990 has built-in effects and requires no extra equipment. As for sound quality in the vocal range, I think these amps sound great. On smaller gigs, I will sometimes use the line out on a separate head unit into my KC-400 just to add reverb to the vocal tracks, and for rehearsals I just plug the vocalist's mic into this amp directly. |
