These SALA-210 are rated at 560W RMS at 16 Ohm each, and the SALA-215S subwoofers are rated at 800W RMS at 4 Ohm each. I typically recommend something like my Magnitude2400 amplifier for both the SALA-210 and the SALA-215S. For the SALA-210, you can chain up to four of these cabinets, which would yield 2240W RMS at 4 Ohm, put the Magnitude2400 in a 4 Ohm Bridge, in which case the Magnitude2400 should be outputting around 3200W RMS, which is pretty much the ideal rating, as you generally want your amplifier to be around 1.5 times stronger than the speaker(s) it is powering. So 2240W RMS * 1.5 = 3360 for the ideal rating, and this 3200 is pretty close to that. That said, you would need a Magnitude2400 for every 4 boxes.For the SALA-215S subwoofers, rated at 800W RMS at 4 Ohm, you could use the Magnitude2400 in "mono" mode, and the Magnitude2400 can power up to four of these SALA-215S, 2 daisy chained together, per channel.These Magnitude2400 will be back in stock on or around 4/15/17. | Answer: | Hi, You can not connect your bass directly to these SA-15.2 as they are passive 15" loudspeakers. You can connect your bass to a preamp (or bass guitar amp head), to amplify the signal from your bass, then output from the amp and connect to these SA-15.2. Each SA-15.2 is rated at 300W RMS at 8 Ohm. If you "daisy chain" these two speakers together, you will create a 600W RMS at 4 Ohm load. You would need to make sure your amp could support this wattage (600W RMS) at this impedance (4 Ohm). You would also need to use low gauge (12-16 AWG) speaker cable. Each SA-15.2 has a dual 1/4" jackplate, where either jack can be the input, then once the input is connected, the other jack becomes an output for daisy chaining purposes. As far as the level of bass you will get from these SA-15.2, it will certainly be bass you can hear, but these are not subwoofers, so it will not be bass you feel. You compare the sensitivity (dB measured at 1 watt and 1 meter) to compare volume at the same power. For each doubling of wattage you get an increase of 3 dB. This is how can have two speakers with truly the same wattage, but one is louder than the other. There is more to sound than the amount of electricity used.
