Answer:	I don't have the dragonfly red, which has the ESS 9016 DAC chip but feed mine with the SMSL SU8 which has the ESS ES9038Q2M DAC and it pairs very nicely with it. My guess is that it would be slightly warmer and less clinical than the built in headphone amp chip on the dragonfly red, but I'm only guessing. The SU8 and the Loxjie sound very nice with Tidal and Qobuz although you may have an edge with the dragonfly red with Tidal since it has MQA decoding which the SU8 does not. I have the HD 6xx's and the HD 58x running balanced and they both pair very nicely with the Loxjie. I imagine the HD600's will pair well too.

Answer:	The PST-8 has about 7 to 8 ft of power cord, so certainly if your amp is further away, you can use a power cord. I have the same setup and it works well. Depending on your setup, you may chose to run the extension cord from the wall outlet first and then plug in your PST-8, so filtering happens closer to your amp.

Answer:	@guitar->di box->this unitLate to the party here, but other potential buyers might want to know...A DI box basically converts the unbalanced instrument level signal to a balanced mic level signal. So this should work using the Micromon's xlr input.. not the 1/4". So in this situation you may use the Micromon's xlr thru-put out to a mixer channel. Furthermore you could also use the DI box's parallel 1/4" jack to feed a guitar amp... but in that case why do you need to hear it in a pair of headphone's or iem's as others have pointed out).BUT what this unit is intended to do is let to run your mic thru (in and out of) it for extra "just me" monitoring while also receiving a normal monitor/aux send mix from the mixer into the Micromon's 1/4" input. There are other, creative uses for this unit but just know that you results may very when you use any piece of equipment in a way in which it was not intended. And yes, you likely do need to monitor an acoustic guitar if you are on a noisy stage with drums, electrics etc. The ambient sound from the guitar alone is rarely enough in a "band" situation. But at the end of the day, imo, you'll get better results and keep things simpler if you just use a simple stage monitor/wedge. Hondo.

Answer:	You can get stereo output. Inputs however are one balanced 1/4" and the second is XLR. It's a great personal mixer and I use it every time I play live. I run the board mix into the 1/4" and then direct from my Line6 X3 Live into the XLR (Mic) input.

Answer:	I am using 19V. I would go with what is printed on the back panel, not going beyond 20V.
Question:	What type of DC power supply is recommended for this item
Answer:	Mine came with a USB cable that has an adapter on the end. The adapter is 5 volts DC. On the back of the headphone amp itself, it says "DC 5-20 Volt."
Question:	What is the advantage or disadvantage of using a power supply voltage higher than the 5v you get through the usb to dc cable
Answer:	I use a 6 volt wall type supply and it works great. I have not tried higher voltage. The reason I don't use USB power is because I have multiple program sources (including a PC) and I want the amplifier to be independent of the PC. I use the tape outputs on my preamp to drive the Douk. Output level is more than adequate for any of my various headphones. Overall I think its a great product and I'm quite happy with it . If you get sufficient output using a USB supply then, perhaps, you might consider continuing to use it that way.

Answer:	Hi, The real question is do magnets stick to your fridge. A lot of Stainless fridges are not magnetic. We have a stainless dishwasher and a stainless fridge - they stick to the dishwasher fine but only on the painted side of the fridge - not on the stainless part of it. It just depends on the steel they use. High grade steel is usually not magnetic.

Answer:	They are very sturdy and the few I took out of the box had a strong magnetic force, so I would assume they would be great on a fridge. HOWEVER, they have a sort of foam cover and in a kitchen you get a certain amount of grease in the air, etc... so they would be hard to clean... well, harder to clean than the plastic covered magnets. Answer:	In the measure of safety, use a P95 mask. But in my personal opinion, an open window/fan should be enough. If you mix large amounts (more than say a few cups) at a time, I would recommend a mask. I poured 3 gallons at once and the smell was a little much, but pouring 2-4 cups at a time I don't notice it much.
