Answer:	It works great, but the capacity is on the small side for a restaurant of any size; you'd probably have to empty it before you're done if you're sweeping the whole place (quick and easy to do). But for small pick-ups between nightly floor cleaning it would be especially great.

Answer:	Cat hair generally isn't what I try to pick up with this sweeper, but we do have a cat and the sweeper does pick up at least some of the cat hair. There's always plenty of it in the dust bins when I empty the bins. This sweeper is certainly no substitute for a electric vacuum with a powered rotor brush, but nor should it be expected to be.

Answer:	Bought this carpet sweeper to pick up at church...disappointed because instead of going forward and then backward when you first start to use it, you have to go in front of the dirt and then back and then forward to pick up the dirt several times that way and sometimes that doesn't even work.

Answer:	You can clean underneath furniture over 3" off the floor. The handle can be lowered to fold the sweeper, but not completely flat. Totally useless on hardwood, but does a good job on carpet and textured floors.
Question:	What is the trick to getting the very first pole attached to the base??? I returned one because it wasnt screwing in & the replacement isnt either
Answer:	I had the same problem. It's NOT you. If you can still return it, do so. Mine is the same and my spouse says it's the threads. They are not compatible with what you are trying to screw one. He used the handle from my old sweeper to fit on this Rubbermaid. That's ridiculous. I'm returning it and getting another Bissell. It's also very loud. Chases the animals away.

Answer:	Quite easy. There are two pans, one on each side - simply lift them open and knock, brush, or wipe the collected dirt into a trash can. I use a wet wipe to clean the brushes as well. The brushes are short, so they clean up easily. Turning any wheel rotates the center brush for easy wiping. I have two cats and it is simple to get all the fur, dust, and scattered litter bits off the brushes. The sweeper is also lightweight, quiet, and stands alone when the handle is in the vertical position. A very good product.
