Answer:	Yes. That is how I use mine. Otherwise the battery life is only ~6 hours.

Answer:	This sends midi out to a Bluetooth midi device like an iPad or a pc. I tried to use it with a key tar and since the Yamaha needs power from the midi plug, it didn't seem to really work well. I ended up returning 2 of these. Not the best product for the Keytar. It did work on powered keyboards though.

Answer:	No, not unless one or the other instrument can run a virtual midi App. An app needs to be used to make the virtual link. There is no connect button or function on the midi adapter.

So no, you can't use this device to play sound from your piano through the receiver. However, there are audio bluetooth adapters that you could plug into the piano, and any of those would let you do what you want.

Answer:	I’ve been using beyerdynamic dt880 pro with this - 250 ohm - it was a good pairing so much so I rather listen through my headphones rather than the speakers. I also paired this with the audio technica ws1100 and found a bit of hissing I think it’s because of the lower ohm rating. The beyerdynamic is what I use the most.
