Answer:	I just measured. It raises as high as 28 inches. It can get as low as 23", approximately. It's on thick carpet, so my measurement is not exact. I think the dimensions on this page is correct. I bought this because it get lowest (23 inches) among similar models. I use this for computer keyboard/laptop computer stand. It's sturdy and small enough for my purpose. It's already like a part of my body when I use computer.

Answer:	The reason I bought this model was for its loudness. It is capable of cutting through a chamber group of 8 - 10 people. I don't have a Korg to compare it to, however.
