Answer:	Yes, but make sure to buy really good quality batteries for it. I put some Rayovaks in it to begin with and the batteries wouldn't work with it. You can also buy a power cord with it, but that's optional.

Answer:	All keys are a lot smaller than a piano, not even equivalent to a regular size keyboard. This keyboard is more for a child. I got it just to practice some melody's while traveling in a van this summer and could not take regular Yamaha keyboard. Casio keyboard is 23 1/2" long and keys are 3/4" wide. Keyboard is abt 3 1/2 octaves. Hope this helps!
