Answer: No...it really doesnt even play major chords well...it is simply a toy. Hard to get any sound out of the keys and buttons together, at least that is my experience. I can get sound with the buttons separately and sound when I play the keys separately. A cbild would not be able to learn on this accordian. It is a toy only.

Answer: Hard to tell but looks to me to be plastic coated fiber board. No song book just a basic instruction book.
