Answer:	No. You absolutely positively definitely scratch your pans. Don’t do it!

Question:	Does it automatically mill the beans if you program it to start on its own or do I have to grind the beans manually and then set the program function
Answer:	It grinds the beans when you program it.... just make sure that you have the setting correct to grind the correct amount of cups!!
Question:	What is the grinder capacity 1/2 lb beans
Answer:	The grinder has settings to grind for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 cups of coffee. So it will grind per the setting. For 12 cups I do use about a 1/2 c of coffee beans.
Question:	Am I missing something? When I turn the coffee power button on - it just blinks and does not heat up
Answer:	I would check the settings for time, grind and brew strength. If nothing works, refer to the manual. When I set mine for delayed start time, I just press the "auto" button twice, the clock shows up in the display, and I wake up to perfect coffee. It's probably something simple - I had to play with mine for a bit when I first set it up.

Spring water, or filtered water that still has mineral content, is preferable to "zero water" But anyone who says you can make great coffee with tap water... Well, they must have nice tap water.
