User questions & answers
Question: | Can i connect my phone via aux |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Should there be a user manual included in the box |
Answer: | Yes, there was a manual included. I wasn't too happy with it because of the very small print making it difficult for me to read. I finally ended up scanning the complete manual so I could view it on my computer. There wasn't one available for the Casio CTX700 for download. |
Question: | What is the distance (in inches) from the bottom of the keyboard to the top of the keys |
Answer: | 2 inches from the bottom of the base to the top of the white keys. |
Question: | Please clarify "midi compliant". can this keyboard be connected to a pc and used to input notes to programs like finale, sibelius, or musescore |
Answer: | Hi Jerry C. YES!!! PC or Laptop, etc. If it has a USB port you're good to go! If you have your favorite DAW you can experience one of the greatest creativity options ever. Imagine, using your MIDI to record a note(s) into your DAW. Then by using MIDI edit, you can take those same note(s) and make them louder or soft, change the length on sound, change the note up or down, slide note(s) back and forth or up and down at will, plus more than I've discovered to date. The Casio 61-key portable keyboard (CTX700) gives you the same functionality as the more expensive brands. I only regret waiting this long before I finally made my purchase. But, by doing so, my creativity level has skyrocketed. The question most asked regarding my music is: "How did you do that??? I hope this helped you and I hope you make some of the most fantastic music ever heard!!! |
