Their description says that the Keystation 49 MK3 has a synth action. That type of action, typically, is a lighter spring feel than the semi-weighted feel. I actually liked the feel,of the 88 II. I owned two of them. One lasted four years. The second unit only one and a half years. I take particularly good care of my equipment. And don’t pound on the keys. However, they both failed far too soon, in my opinion. I have switched to the Nektar brand. Only time will tell about their durability. Good luck with your choice.
