Answer:	Yes, the cello does come strung, but you will have to place the bridge yourself. This is fairly simple to do, by lining up the bridge centered on the cello body and equidistant from the mid-point of the f-holes - making sure to keep the bridge perpendicular to the body as you add tension the strings.

How to choose Cello size:

Measuring yourself or a child for cello size: Seat the child (or yourself) so that the knees are bent at a ninety degree angle. The instrument should rest such that the upper rim of the cello body rests on the sternum (breast bone), and the left knee contacts the curve below the lower bout corner. The C string peg (for the thickest string) should be near the left ear, with the neck a few inches away from the shoulder, and the left hand able to reach both ends of the fingerboard with ease.

Hand size is also the primary consideration when determining the proper size to purchase. Too large an instrument can throw your balance off and/or induce tension in the left hand. If the choice between two sizes of instrument is close choose the smaller. Refer to our recommended ages and sizes on the right.

Answer:	You cannot get the pegs to stay in place. They are made of pear wood and are very porous which causes the strings to dig into the wood. The strings should put a downward tension on the peg so that the peg is firmly on the peg box. That's what holds the peg in place. When the peg is porous there is not the contact surface between the peg box and peg. I have tried to fix many of these celli that students have brought to me. They are junk, not playable, and fixable for about $300.00. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Even their web site says you will need to tune the instrument every 10 minutes. Make a pretty shelf or chair back with it. It's not worth messing with as an instrument.

Answer:	I think it would depend on the diameter of the bow. If the diameter is the same as, say, a 4/4 bow, then yes I think it would fit as that is where it is the snuggest. On my 4/4 bow, it goes about 1.25" beyond the frog, so make sure there's enough room too.
