Answer:	Fully up they stand just over 5 feet tall. If you place foam pads to eliminate unwanted noise from your monitor speakers it will ad a few more inches.

Three Internal Chambers

Inside the solid extruded aluminum column, there are three hidden chambers. Answer:	For sure they'll support the Yamaha's (cool monitors by the way). The bottom of the pads are flat, hard plastic with rubber feet. I have them on an older set of Ultimate Support stands that have a flat tray on top. My tray measures about 10" square and all the rubber feet fit. The MS90's are a better stand than I have and will be more stable than mine. Its a good application for these pads.

Answer:	Hi. Sergiy. The front lip does cover a small part of the bass ports. But I've listened closely and haven't detected any change in sound. If you needed to, just to be certain for your use, you could shim up the platform with 10 -15mm of foam using a small sheet or weatherstrip. That would be plenty to hike up the Adam monitors while still providing adequate support. Just a thought. I don't think its necessary however. I hope this helps.

Answer:	It is metal AND plastic. The clamp section and arm that attach to mic stand or other "pole" is metal and the tablet "clamp" is plastic. It is pretty tough plastic as well and has taken some inadvertent abuse.
