Question:	Can you use a different SD card, specifically one with more memory
Answer:	Yes, you can have multiple SD cards. The manual suggests you might have different cards for different shows. I'm not sure if there's an addressing limit for large capacity SD cards.
Question:	Do I need to know how to program beats
Answer:	Not if you don't want to! Straight out of the box, the BeatBuddy comes with 200 "songs" (the collection of beats for multiple parts of a song, including intros/outros, fills, transition beats, verses, chorus, etc.) in 21 genres.  There are also ten included drum sets that can play those songs.  By default, each song is associated with the drum set it's "supposed" to be played on, but you can play Latin beats on a heavy metal drum set and techno beats on a hand drum set. It's simple to find what you're looking for, but there's a huge playground of opportunity to explore.The songs come in a wide variety of time signatures, mostly 4/4, 3/4, 5/4, and 6/8, but there are others.  There's even a special folder for very odd time signatures -- things for the most musically eccentric ...or curious.  The BeatBuddy makes it easy to perfect your timing or learn new time signatures with the Visual Metronome.  A shaded bar moves across the screen in accordance with the time signature and tempo, so you know exactly how many beats there are in the measure, where you are in the measure, and when the measure will end -- and you can see this visually.  It's an invaluable tool when it comes to tightening your chops.But all that's straight out of the box, no programming necessary.  If you're the type who likes creating your own beats, or if you have friends or websites you can get more beats from, you can import MIDI files from GarageBand, Ableton, Cubase, or any of your preferred programs into the BeatBuddy Manager software, arrange those files into new songs, and load them onto your BeatBuddy. You can also load WAV files into the software to create new drum sets.
Question:	Would i be able to plug this into a digital interface and record the drum beat into a daw? how would that be done
Answer:	You would be able to. You'd even be able to sync both, the DAW and the BeatBuddy via MIDI if you had a proper audio interface. You'll need an audio interface with TRS 1/4 inch inputs to record the sound into the DAW. For the sync part you'll need a MIDI adapter for the BeatBuddy (an extra 15 bucks) and USB MIDI adapter for your PC also (usually run for about 20 bucks). Some interfaces (like the Tascam US-122L for example) are both: audio and MIDI interface at once which would allow you to sync the tempo and record the BB through the same device.

Question:	Do you need every output connected? Its 12 cables. In the picture of djs using it they dont seem to have alloutputs connected. Can someoneplease help
Answer:	Those 12 outputs are for routing or recording the different pieces in isolation. If none of the individual outputs are used, all sounds go through the single mix output.

Answer:	Yes it is 1/4" output. As long as you have a 1/4" to use (or an adapter to change 1/4" to RCA) then sure it would work fine.

Answer:	Nope - This is a drum machine that does not have any sampling capabilities. :)

Answer:	Yes. It can be connected to a computer via USB. Is there an app that lets you program the drums?... Kinda. It has to be done using MIDI on the computer over USB. So any MIDI program should be able to trigger and play this drum machine from the computer. Mostly this would be a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) program like Abelton Live, Reaper, FL Studio, Reason, Logic Pro, etc... There are also several MIDI sequencer programs on the market that are designed specifically to trigger drum machines.

Answer:	I think there are enough available drums on the unit to get what you need. The unit cannot load new wav samples per user, but it can trigger outboard samplers if needed. I have done several songs where I've written the parts on this unit and have uploaded the midi and retriggered a few sounds in my DAW with different samplers - EZDrummer, Studio One's built-in sampler and Impact matrix style drum machine. I've also used this with Cubase and NI Battery to trigger samples. Overall, I think the unit is robust enough to cater to styles specified. You can layer hits (trigger two snares on top of each other for example) to get a fuller sound if needed.

Question:	Are there any 2/4 Country presets and rockabilly presets
Answer:	There are no presets in this machine that are country or rockabilly. The instruction manual for this machine is available free on the internet. The sounds on this machine are very nice. This model is often available used on www.guitarcenter.com for around $50 plus shipping. There are also many drum machines that you can download onto your smartphone. There are also drum machines that you can install in your PC or MAC. The user interface on this machine is outdated, but the cymbal sounds in particular may be worth the cost of the machine itself. To learn how to program your own beats into this machine you will have to spend some time with the manual. If you don't need to run your drum machine on batteries, the Boss DR770 is a more professional choice. Finding a used Boss DR770 is going to take more patience but this is a better machine. Ed Friedland used a Boss DR770 on many of his instructional tracks. I'm not familiar with programming the Boss DR770. The manual can be found for free online.

Answer:	I'm not sure. I bought mine used. I usually run mine on 6 duracell AA batteries. You might be able to order one used from guitarcenter.com or Amazon. You can find out the proper power supply model number by downloading the Boss DR 670 owners manual.

Looper Mode

In LOOPER mode, FC01 will let you use the pedal as a standalone looper. Select LOOPER using the MODE SWITCH to enter LOOPER mode. The LOOPER has 4 basic states when creating loops, RECORD, PLAY, DUB and STOP.

Drum + Looper Mode

In Loop & Drum mode, FC01 will let you use the LOOPER and the DRUM machine simultaneously.

In this mode, FC01 will synchronize the recording to the drum machine. After recording a loop the drum machine can be changed using the RHYTHM STYLE control.

It has one MIDI out port and a USB connection, so you can use it if you wish to control virtual instruments on your computer or a hardware synth (or multiple hardware synths if you daisy chain them or use a MIDI through box or MIDI Router). If you only wish to use it as a controller and not make use of its awesome analog synth capabilities you'd probably do better though getting a dedicated (w/o a built in synth) MIDI Controller at least cost-wise.

Question:	I play mostly country which is pretty simple, nothing real fancy. Will this work for that
Answer:	If you are trying to record the audio, you need an audio interface with 1/4 inputs (same size as the output on your keyboard). MIDI alone can't be used to send or receive sound to and from the keyboard. You can use MIDI to sync your keyboard to the clock (BPMs) of ableton. Or, you can use midi to send electronic signals from tour keyboard to different instruments in ableton, like the MIDI sampler, but the sounds that you hear will be from the ableton instrument, not your keyboard. Finally, you can use the MIDI writing functions in ableton to send electronic signals to your keyboard, but in order for you to record the sound, you'll still need a 1/4 out going into an audio interface, so that ableton can hear it.
Question:	so can you only store 8 patterns on this drum machine? and if so is the memory expandable
