User questions & answers
Question: | How well does this work for a bass guitar? I've got a Snark that doesn't register well on my Fender Jazz bass |
Answer: | I wouldn't trust it to hold anything more than a couple of pounds. |
Question: | How can this work with any guitar case? It wouldn’t sit in there safely whatsoever. Very impractical |
Answer: | Sturdy enough to hold sheet music or an instruction book or tablet. |
Question: | Could i use this for intonation |
Answer: | No |
Question: | If I change the pitch to 432Hz, will it reset to 440Hz if I turn it off and back on |
Answer: | I use it for a Mandolin, so can't say for sure, but the width of the instrument's neck at the nut should be 1-1/8" or less, and the headstock should be wider than 1-1/8". If the neck fits in the opening OK you might need to suspend a dulcimer with the strings towards the stand because the top of the body behind the neck might interfere if you suspend it with strings facing out. The height of the instrument hanger is adjustable. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this attach to the D'Addario capo |
Answer: | It should work if you have the proper connecting cable and battery compartment adapter. |
Question: | What type of battery does it use |
Answer: | NO, it is a sealed unit. There is no access to the internal components. |
Question: | This tuner been working flawlessly up until today; now it's frozen on the B note when I turn it on; I changed batteries, but it didn't fix it |
Answer: | It’s still virtually invisible... in most cases your hand and arm are invisible when holding the 360* |
Question: | can you adjust the frequency to 432? if so does the setting remain when you power cycle it |
Answer: | I was pleased with this kit. The body and Prime lens both registered successfully with Canon, but the Tamron lens isn't covered by tamron, it seems to be an out of market lens, though it appears brand new and fully functional. No warranty card with Tamron, but 33rd St camera provides a year coverage on that lens. The power grip is third party, but seems ok. I haven't taken it out of the box yet. The tripod is a piece of trash, I wouldn't trust the weight of the camera on it, nor can you get it properly leveled, it's just too flimsy, but price alone for body, prime 50mm, and zoom lens is hard to beat anywhere from what I've seen. Buy with confidence, but know you're really just buying for the body and lenses of course. The filter kit only fits the Prime lens, so be aware, and order filters for the tamron lens (62mm). Lastly, and this was not a major concern for me, but I didn't receive the bag pictured. I received a legit Canon bag, but totally different and much smaller. I priced it out, and is of equal value to the bag pictured tho. Cheers! |

Answer: | Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, our capos should work well even with left-handed guitars too. Hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to contact us again should you have any further questions, we're here for you. :-) Best regards, Manilyn / Nordic Essentials |
Question: | Will this fit the tuner for a banjo's 5th string? (It's a bit larger than the other strings' tuners |
Answer: | They aren't very big, I use them on my 6 string guitar and on my sons smaller guitar. |
Question: | Does it work on classic guitar |
Answer: | Partial capos can easily be used together with altered tunings, and a number of very fruitful combinations are already in use by some players. Tunings and capos are sort of "mirror images" of each other, and each have their own advantages and disadvantages. |
Question: | Will it work on electric guitar, too, or just acoustic |
Answer: | They do not work properly on my Taylor 656CE 12. At the 5th fret and up, okay but they do not work below that. Recently had the guitar set up and the action is quite low so I am surprised the capo could not compress below the 5th fret. |
