Answer:	There is no internal power source. It has a volume and a single tone control on the top side of the body.. I've plugged it into a bass amp and into a mic input of a house sound system. Was able to get the deep acoustic sound I was after.

Answer:	About the same volume as any acoustic guitar. One must remember that the extra thickness of the strings and the "bassness" of them causes them to be less piercing than treble strings. This is an ideal bass for dormitory or apartment dwellers. Amplified it has a richer tone than solid body electric basses.
Question:	is the top solid spruce or plywood
Answer:	I believe it to be spruce. It definitely isn't plywood.
Question:	Is this an adequate bass for a beginner? How close to an upright does it sound when plugged in
Answer:	I was a pro bassist for 22 years and bought this inexpensive bass for banging around as my other basses are way too nice for that. Being the type of bass this is I recommend taking off the factory strings and throwing them away. If you want an upright type sound use flatwound strings like D'Addario Chrome flats or their black nylon wound strings. You have to play very hard to get more volume but this bass should never have roundwounds on it. For the money, this is an OK bass and the tone is warm and round with the right strings on it.

Answer:	Yes. When I took it out of the package, the bag looked no bigger than one of my electric's bags. I went home and tried it on my EAB and it fit like a glove.

Answer:	I bought this case a long, long time ago but it was a good case for my acoustic bass. Since it's a soft-shell nylon case it has a little bit of play so 3" may be tight but my guess is that it's probably a standard size for acoustic bass guitars. If the price is right for you I would make the purchase. If it doesn't fit, return it!

Answer:	I believe it's made for a bass with symmetrical bouts rather than with cutouts. The handle in the photo can make it look like it's made for a cutout bass. So it might fit a lefty but I'm not sure. Good luck.

Answer:	Thank you for your interest in the Cordoba F7. The f7 does have a truss rod to adjust the neck relief. Calido Guitars does set up the guitar before shipping so that it has the proper neck relief and action. The F7 comes with Savarez 500CJ high tension strings, but I actually prefer Savarez Tomatito T50J strings. They are also high tension and are designed for Flamenco guitars. Answer:	Sounds like a packaging error. I'd contact the seller for a replacement. Or, you can probably find washers that will fit at Lowes, home depot or ace hardware, but they won't have the same nice polished finish, but you can polish them up by hand.
Question:	My 2x2 chrome bass tuners came without the washers, so they are useless. Is there a way to get the washers
Answer:	Depends on the model of acoustic bass. You'd have to measure the existing tuners or the holes in the headstock. When I installed these in my old Yamaha bass, I had to use a rat tail file to open up the holes in the headstock slightly.

Answer:	9/16" is standard for that style tuner. It's a shade over 14mm.

Answer:	I've tried both, and I'd say the polyweb coated strings are less bright. I prefer a brighter sound so I go with the nanoweb.

Answer:	I have used almost every brand of strings on my various Martin acoustics. Elixirs stand above the crowd in terms of tone quality. 80/20 bronze bring out the best but need changing about every 2-3 months max for a daily player. Phosphor-bronze have less nuanced tone but still excellent, and seem to last almost twice as long. Recommend 80/20 for the regular player who wants the most "detailed" tone, P-B for more occasional playing and longer life. Discerning players will be happy with either in any case.
Question:	What would be the downside of putting these strings on an old classical guitar I bought for $25. Would it cause the neck to bow
Answer:	80/20s bronze will initially be brighter. Phosphor bronzes will be warmer. 80/20s become warmer after use more quickly and may become undesirable to use more quickly because the strings are no longer giving you the desired tone you started with. Phosphor bronzes hold their initial tone longer, but are by design, warmer. Projection (beyond gauge of the strings~heavy vs medium vs light vs extralight) and ease of fingering have much more to do with the guitar you're using, style of playing (use of a pick/how hard you're strumming/finger-picking), and setup (tuning~you drop down a half a step, the strings will have less tension and will be easier to bend).

Question:	How do you replace the 9 volt battery on it? I just got it and already needs a new battery. No instructions on it
Answer:	The black plate on the lower bottom bout that includes the input jack also has a battery box door. This door has the word 'Fishman' on it. Sometimes the batteries are still in their original packaging. You may just need to open the battery box door, take off thin film of plastic and correctly re install. Keeping the batteries in their packaging helps to ensure you are shipped a good battery. Also, please remember to unplug bass when not in use, or it will drain the 9 Volt battery.
Question:	Does this bass guitar have an input for a instrument cable so that I can connect it to an amp
Answer:	Yes, there is a female 1/4" input jack located on lower bout. (Not pictured by Fender or most other sellers) This input jack is part of a discretely placed curved plate that also allows easy access to change the 9 volt battery used to power the Fishman onboard tuner and pre amp. A 90 degree right angle male 1/4" cable is recommended so if you happen to set bass down, all the stress is not on a straight cable connector or the basses input jack. Plug into a Rumble bass amp, acoustic amp, PA, or recording equipment for many hours of enjoyment. Unplug when not being used to keep battery from draining.
Question:	Does this come with a case
Answer:	Unfortunately, this Fender Acoustic Bass does not include a case or bag. However Fender does have a black nylon gig bag they recommend under part # 099-1535-206.

Question:	Which set would be good for drop B
Answer:	A larger string gauge will produce higher tension. When you drop your tuning that higher tension will help retain note clarity and power. Go for the Power Slinky or buy an even larger 5 string set and use only the biggest 4 strings. You'll have to adjust the truss rod and bridge afterwards.
Question:	What’s the length in inches of these strings
Answer:	Unless otherwise noted, all of our bass strings are 48" in length and designed for basses with a scale length of 34".
Question:	Will these work on rbx jm2 John Myung signature
Answer:	Hi there, If the scale length of the bass is around 34 or 35 inches it should work. Also John Myung's name appears on the back as an endorsed artists for the strings. Hope this helps!
