The tone does not seem to decay as do Other phosphor bronze strings, which we think of as decaying in a curve. The Sunbeam phosphor seems to sustain in a straight line, until the sound "falls off". The Sunbeam phosphors are also musically bright and rich sounding. Additionally they are very flexible .More So than any Other string we have played.

Question:	Which grade of strings would you most recommend for younger players...under age
Answer:	I would recommend a set of 10 guage electric strings put on an acoustic guitar and go to 11 guage acoustics and work your way up to 12 guage acoustic. I would leave the electric strings on until proficient in basic chords.

Answer:	I do not see "12 pack" in the logo. The above photo is one set of phosphor bronze light guage guitar strings for a 6 string acoustic guitar. There are not 2 sets of strings in the pack. Hope this helps.

Question:	How do these compare to the same gauge in exlixir and martin sp lifespan phosphor bronze
Answer:	DR Veritas strings are not coated, hence play just like normal string feel with normal tension. Elixir strings sound OK and last longer but are harder on your fingers; also harder to bend. Martin SP has a fuller sound than all of the coated strings but they don't seem to last as long as Elixirs or D'Addarios.Overall, among the three I place Martin first, Elixir second, and then DR strings.
Question:	Regarding tone/overtones, how do these compare to martin sp LS & elixir phosphor bronze? Veritas have a higher nickel % = +bass/life/-treble
Answer:	I'm not familiar with martin strings but I have used elixir and like the elixirs and Dr veritas strings and I personally like the tone in both but prefer non-coated strings so I have switched to Dr for that reason.

Answer:	Yes i have! Its a good size for smaller paintings if you dont like the edges hanging off. That was my issue with using it, I usually do pretty big paintings

Question:	The 6th string has a loud buzz after installing on my Ovation acoustic electric (didn't before). Anyone else experience this or know how to fix
Answer:	Make sure everything is situated properly. Also, did you change gage of strings? That can affect your set up.
Question:	Are these good for beginners? Also, would these be good for an acoustic-electric fender? Thanks in advance
Answer:	If you're looking for a lighter feel, I would recommend going with the Zebra - Round Core 10-48. the 10-48 refers to the thickness of the string and 10-48 is the thinnest string which also equates to them being easier to press against the fret since they take less "pull" to get them into tune. I personally use the 11-50 that you have here because I tend to break the 10s (hard strumming), but if I don't play often the 11s will strain my fingers. Either with work fine for electric or acoustic. I have them on an acoustic/electric Takamini. They have a great full sound and last long if you take care of them I use "fast fret" before and after I play which makes the strings more slippery so you don't feel the rub of the strings as much. It also cleans the strings and puts a thin layer of grease on them so they don't get rusty too quick.... rust=pain.
