Answer:	Soft and good looking. I own 6 of the Fender straps and they're highly adjustable and secure. Worth the bit more in cost!

Answer:	All I can say is that this is the longest darn strap I've ever used-- or not used. If you're a 5'8" bass player (jazz style), it's way too long, even as short as it will go. If you're over 6' tall and like to sling your guitar low (grunge style) it should go long enough.

Question:	Is this for acoustic or electric
Answer:	Yes, it comes with a tie string. The strap is good quality for the money, but I was a bit disappointed in the color. I have a Butterscotch Blonde Tele and when the strap was installed it showed a lot of green. The strap looked great until I put it next to the guitar is when the green tint showed up. I am keeping it because it is not that bad a match, but I would have preferred the strap have more of a beige tone.

Answer:	The one I got is more yellow on the lighter color than cream. I'd have much preferred the cream.

Answer:	It's two and one sixteenth inches wide over most of it's length and tapers down to one and three eights wide at the ends. It's a very nice strap. Really soft leather and comfortable. And it looks good, too.
Question:	Is this an authentic Fender strap? Is it real leather
Answer:	This strap is not padded, yet it is very comfortable. Probably because the leather is soft. I've used this with my Telecaster for over a year. I like it.

Answer:	46.5" - 51". It's pretty large for me, even at the shortest setting and I'm 5'7

Answer:	It works for electric and will work for acoustic as well as long as the acoustic has the strap buttons. If your acoustic only has 1 strap button you’ll need the string to tie through the hole on the strap and wrap around the neck at the headstock.

Answer:	I haven’t measured but it’s long enough to accommodate me (I’m over 6ft tall) yet can be adjusted to accommodate me when sitting as well

While this is great if you have shoulder or back issues and need the strap to function as a shock absorber it allows more movement than I like

Answer:	I used them to move a half ton of rock and dig holes in hard clay and limestone. I think they’ll work for your purposes. They’re thick but soft cowhide and very well sewn.

Answer:	I would use it on a bass but I would also use the rubber "strap locks" (look like rubber washers) as well. I prefer them to any metal clip on strap locks.
