Answer:	YES, the SanDisk Extreme Go SDCZ800-064G does have an LED that indicates data transfer. Plug it in and a Blue LED flashes two or three times and then remains on. Drop a file on the drive and the LED begins to flash (at a slow rate) until the transfer is complete. Then it remains on. Eject the drive and it pulses dimly until removed.

Answer:	CZ80 is not bootable /out of the box/ STGuy should have said. It is incredibly easy to make it bootable and I have personally used it to install Windows 10 without a problem. Careful with partial information.
Question:	Why would anyone buy this one over the older model considering that the older one is faster in both write and read speed
Answer:	Only O-N-E good reason to buy this over the older version; YOU CAN'T BUY THEM ANYMORE!!! The old CZ80 was far superior in performance particularly in writes, and out of the 5 64GB USB 3.1 models I bought all of them fail to even max out USB 2.0 on WRITES. On reads they perform about like a fixed mechanical HDD 80-120MB/s. What good is a USB 3.0 drive if you can't write data quickly as well as write it? You buy USB 3.0 flash drives to avoid staring at a progress bar forever! The thing that kills me the most is that Sandisk is more than capable of producing a quality product, but they have chosen to cheap out on the construction of some if their products lately in the interest of maximizing profit. If the old flash drives before these had become more expensive to manufacture they should have proportionately increased price because even if they charged 10-15 dollars more than what the drives were going for the CZ80 drives were still worth it at that price point; just look up some of the benchmarks for the CZ80. I ended up purchasing a Corsair Voyager GTX which is expensive, but at least it's performance and build quality are representative of what you expect at that price point.
