Answer:	Depends on what guitar you are using on and what position is comfortable. I have it at the longest length on a SVR Stat and it fits fine. I am 6'0" 180#. Strap is 51" pin to pin.

Answer:	Not if u place a strap lock . Have had it a couple of months now and it’s working perfectly not had any problem or issues, but it’s with a strap lock not sure without it...

Answer:	I have used this guitar stand with a Martin HD-35 acoustic and Gibson ES-355 electric guitars. These guitars are fairly high end. I don’t know what their finish is but there has been no damage from the stand. Ed C

Answer:	Assuming it is a full sized shield, it might stand up on it as is. Or you could try a On-Stage XCG-4, which might work better.

Answer:	Yes, I tried it with both. Both will rest properly but both will be seated at an (uncomfortable to look at) angle. I tried two electrics: a Gibson Les and Ibanez. Also tried a thin bodied acoustic. It will hold both styles of varying widths. But honestly, I'm not a fan of this stand and no longer use it.
