Question:	i have a martin guitar and on the pamphlet i received with the guitar it says do not hang your martin guitar on the wall. whats up with that
Answer:	Martin, and other experts, suggest the preferred way to store a wooden acoustic guitar is in its case. The main reason is due to the humidity level of the room. Martin recommends between 45% - 55% humidity. If hanging on a wall, then the room needs to be controled between those levels by means of a dehumidifier if over 55% or a humidifier if under 45%. Many locations vary between high humidity in summer months and low humidity during winter months. By storing in the case, it's easier to control humidity, especially if it is low, by adding small humidifier devices in the case. Then there's the reasoning that it will be safer in the case as well.

Answer:	I didn't notice any smell. I didn't put my nose inches away, but if it smelled I would have noticed.

Answer:	A problem I had is that the lower support is either flat or will sometimes fold inward when I picked the guitar up. I only use that stand when I have several of my guitars out or have friends over. When I perform I put my guitar in its case between sets. I recommend the One Stage’ stand.

Answer:	I am sure it would be safe. I don't have a bass, but all my electric and acoustics are very stable in it.

Answer:	I think you will need to look for another product; the orientation of the stand is such that the guitar, facing outward, makes the 3 leg base have a leg facing perpendicular to wall. In that orientation it is 22 inches deep for all three legs of the triangular base.

Answer:	Yep, it's a pretty decent dense foam padding on all parts that contact the guitar (yolk and neck). Honestly, I don't think there is any metal guitar stand out there that would just have bare metal for the guitar contact points - they wouldn't sell many. :)
Question:	How do you know what color to get? I’ve had my cello for 15 years and not sure of what color it would be considered
Answer:	The neck brace does have an adjustable knob that screws on. The lower arms which support bottom of instrument is held by a bolt of some kind but it swivels on either side but it does not come off. Hope this helps you.
Question:	Does this fit a double bass
Answer:	The cradle is intended to be flexible -- it won't come out unless you turn it upside down. The thumbscrew will hold the neck securely in place. Here are the instructions that should have come with the unit: 1) Insert neck unit into base unit, and tighten the thumbscrew on the base, until the neck unit is snug. 2) Open the legs on the base unit all the way. 3) Insert the cradle from the front, prongs "higher." Turn the cradle 180 deg, so the prongs are lower. 4) Check that it's stable and level, before you use it for your instrument. I love this stand -- I just ordered my third one.
Question:	Will the silicon cushion react with a nitro-cellulous guitar finish
Answer:	When someone says, damage a nitro finish, it can mean one of two things. Primarily what people mean is will it REACT with a nitro finish? With this stand I can't say, but I've noticed no marks when -directly- left on the stand for a week or two. I don't recommend ANY nitro finish guitar be left directly on ANY stand as a normal way of storing guitar when not playing...EVER. The reason, I have had a nitro finish react with a stand. What that does is the foam and nitro begin to interact turning the finish that makes contact with the foam a soft lumpy bump. It will harden once taken off...but the damage is done. Place a hand towel across the base of the stand if you intend to leave the guitar out on a stand. I leave one or two guitars out on stands all the time, makes grabbing and playing much easier, but I learned my lesson about any finish making contact with foam. Especially nitro. About the NECK REST portion of the stand...cover that too. Nitro or poly, it's going to leave a mark over time. Drape a small towel over it...or use the strap like I do. These are VERY GOOD stands...I have 5 of them and they are used for guitars and basses that cost a $300 to over $3K. They're as sturdy as the design can be, but if you've got a rowdy pet or small kids....use the case. Never seen a stand designed yet that can stand up to that.

Question:	Will this stand support open back Banjos
Answer:	It depends on the width of the body of your open back banjo. Tthis stand is adjustable and can support instruments with a minimum width of 7". I use it to support a variety of acoustic and electric guitars. I like it because it doesn't leave marks, it's lightweight yet sturdy, and folds flat for transporting.
Question:	would this stand fit a traveler guitar? not sure if size 0 or smaller
Answer:	I think it can fit, my regular guitar can fit
Question:	Would this hold a child’s guitar
Answer:	If you are talking about a plastic child’s guitar, I think it would be overkill. But if it’s an actual guitar, just smaller sized, it would be perfect. It Is very adjustable and very sturdy.
Question:	Is this safe for cellulose lacquer finishes
Answer:	DO NOT USE WITH NITROCELLULOSE LACQUER FINISHES - this is mentioned in the literature that comes with the stand.

Question:	Is the padding suitable for nitro cellulose finish
Answer:	Hmmm... Not sure on that. My guitar has a poly finish, but its standard foam... which I suspect gets old and thinner over time with use. If you have a relic finish, no problem! Ha. Honestly these stands are cheap, so if you are worried about the finish, buy the expensive one at sweetwater!
Question:	Can anyone answer why i got stand made by martisan instead of neuma? it looks identical but i thought i was buying a neuma product

Question:	Would this stand be able to support a strandberg style body? The bottom of the guitar isn’t evenly shaped
