Question:	Has anyone experienced this light turning on by itself
Answer:	Yes. I believe this happened because it was on when the charge was low and it “turned off”. I guess it had just enough charge to turn on again in the middle of the night, but this didn't last long because obviously it still needed to be charged. So basically, if it’s still on when it’s low in charge and shuts off on its own, there is a possibility it will randomly turn back on for a short period of time. I hope this helps!

Question:	I don't have a drill. How can I install this
Answer:	The mounting screws are pretty small. You should be able to use a screwdriver alone to install it. I suppose if you really wanted to avoid any wall penetrations, and don't want to acquire a screwdriver, you could also use Command strips, or something like it, but you won't have the same holding power as screws even if you use heavy duty ones. Also, the cost of a basic screwdriver is probably pretty similar to good-quality Command strips.

Answer:	Plug in, installs in minutes, very easy. Surprisingly good lighting, I thought it would be a small area but it lights up the area very well.
Question:	It's listed as dimmable, but reviews say otherwise. Is it dimmable
Answer:	The light as it comes does not have a dimmer on it, that probably refers to the type of bulb being dimmable. I just have it plugged into a regular outlet. Mine is mounted to the headboard so if I want it “dimmer” I just aim the light behind the headboard. Not really the answer you’re looking for as the light doesn’t have a feature to adjust the brightness.

Answer:	It does not bother my husband. Because it sits kind of high above my kindle the light spreads more than I would like.The light that was built into my kindle cover was closer to the reader and therefore gave off less light in the room.

Question:	How deep is the mouth of the clip? Meaning how far into a desk does the tip of the clip reach
Answer:	This is a pretty nice size clip, there should be no problem at all clipping this to any desk, I use it for my bed headboard which is very difficult to clip and this worked perfectly.
Question:	How long does the led last? must it be replaced periodically
Answer:	LEDs last between 50,000 and 100,000 hours
Question:	Does it get hot to the touch
Answer:	The light does NOT get hot to the touch at all. The light itself works well. The only problem with it is that the prongs on the power cord are a little thinner than standard prongs on other plugs and they sometimes fall out of the power receptacle.
Question:	Can this be used in a switched outlet so a wall switch can turn it on or off
Answer:	yes it can. i did a test for you and plugged into a switched outlet. turned it on and off with the wall switch after leaving on the light. however the dimmer is part of the switch so it's only going to stay on the mode you leave it on. you can keep the switch by the light itself and run an extension cord to the switched outlet and adjust setting when you need to. i think any of the touch lamps will work with a switched outlet . i'm guessing they would shut down and you'd have to touch the lamp again to turn it on after turning the switched outlet on, so this is a great choice for you. i recommend it 100%. awsome product! if i ever need another i would buy this one again.

Question:	What does a replacement battery cost
Answer:	If you are using Chrome or a Chrome-based browser like Edge, you can log into the NVR IP address using port 80. For example "http://192.168.4.240:80". The IP address on your NVR will be different. You will then have to enable Flash in order to see the video. Unfortunately, Flash will no longer be supported on any web browser after the end of 2020. At that point, unless there is an update to the Chinese software on the NVR to migrate from Flash, you will no longer be able to see the video without their cloud service. I am taking a wait and see attitude.
Question:	My light will have a blue light for 30 seconds when plugged in then go off. It will not turn on. How do I access the 1 year warranty

Answer:	I think With 6500 K, it does provide a lot of blue light. That’s probably why you get a headache . To eliminate the blue light you do need to stay around 3000K. I’m not buying it after research h for that very reason

Answer:	I don't own a Kindle to test it but I did measure the opening and at its widest it measures 1 1/4 ". Hope this helps.

Answer:	It comes with its own charger - one end USB other end that goes into the light base is mini
Question:	How to get the 9 modes? I can only press for 3 bright levels
Answer:	Once your light is fully charged, look at your light as you press the power button. You should see either 3 lights on (pale yellow), 4 lights on (bright white) or 7 lights on (4 bright white and 3 yellow). What you see is one of the modes. if you press the power button 3x the lights get brighter giving you 3 settings for that mode. The 4th time you press they all go off. If you repeat this process you will continue to stay in that mode. Now try again and press 3x but on the 4th press hold the power button down and you will see a change in how many lights are on. Now you are in the 2nd mode. If you repeat the process and turn the lights off you will stay in that 2nd mode. Repeat the process and hold down the power button and that will get you to the 3rd mode which also has 3 settings. Now you've experienced all 3 modes each of which have 3 settings, thus giving you the 9 positions that your light can be in. Hope this helps.
