Answer:	Hi Im an acoustic guitar tech and touring musician. I don't completely understand the question,since the tuning is based on the guitar strings be set to "drop D" nothing to do with the capo.If you set your guitar to lowering the E string to a D( which is drop D) putting the capo on the 2nd fret will give you the same effect but just on a higher pitch.It would then be drop E tuning,fourth fret drop F tuning etc...the capo is great and can handle any tuning to set the guitar at.If you want a drop D tuning( in actual pitch if D while using a capo,youd have to tune down the guitar a whole step then lower the D 6th string to a C and put the capo on the second fret..Hope this wasnt to complicated.Short answer: Yes Good luck

Answer:	Don't know what 12 string guitars the other answers refer to but I play almost exclusively twelve string acoustics, and this works for me at least up to the 7th fret (that's as high as I use it). As someone else says, it's 2.25" wide, so that is the limiting factor. Sure, as with all capo's on 12 strings, you need to have enough tension to pull down the big fat low E far enough that the octave string next to it is also pulled down, which does result in excessive bending of the low E. But at least with this capo you can dial that in. I've always used a fixed tension capo in the past that presses far too hard on the strings and pulls the strings too far out of tune. This capo is much, much better!

Question:	Is the performance 3 wide enough to cover all strings on a 1-3/4" neck guitar (martin om-28v) at the 7th fret
Answer:	Disclaimer: I'm not familiar with the Martin om-28v neck. I have a Martin HD-28 and the G7th capo will fret all strings cleanly at the 7th fret, but it is a tight fit. The part of the capo that goes across the strings is 2 1/8 inches in length. FWIW, I liked this capo so much I bought the smaller version for my Deering banjo.
Question:	Would this be usable on a Martin Dreadnaught Jr
Answer:	I do not own a D Jr. so I cannot say with certainty. However... This Capo works extremely well across all my guitars I perform with. From my Taylor 312 Acoustic along with 3 electrics an American Standard Strat (2016), Gibson ES 339 and PRS Custom 22. Most Capos I have used in the past seemed to put too much pressure on one or two strings causing them to go sharp, this Capo applies very even pressure no matter what neck I clamp it on to. It was well worth the money for me.

Question:	Seems to work fon a flat or slightly curved fretboard...is that true
Answer:	Yes ... I am using it on a few different guitar and fretboard types with no problem. It seems to adjust to the neck type based on it's design. I am using it on a Taylor nylon string acoustic guitar which has a fairly wide flat neck, works great. I also use it on a Takamine steel string acoustic that has a more normal curved acoustic neck type. Again, works great. It's a nice quality, unique capo. It's the only one I use anymore.

Question:	It says lifetime warranty, what does it mean
Answer:	It means they will replace it if it breaks before you die !!!
Question:	What kind of warranty does this product have
Answer:	Claims 'lifetime' but I'm never sure what that really means. However the product is solidly made and doesn't show any real signs of wear after a year. Guessing that if you are a heavy user there are 2 parts that could fail ..the pads that contact the strings and the spring that provides the tension but as stated no signs of wear so far.

Answer:	I bought both the "6 Rosewood Acoustic" and "E Electric Quick Change Capo". The rubber pad is 1/32 (.031") inch longer on the acoustic capo. The spring on the acoustic capo is stronger. The photos look like there is a rubber pad to protect the edge of the fretboard, but there IS NO PAD to protect the eedge of the fretboard. It is a piece of tape. It may provide some protection. The clamp leg could be longer. If you accidentally release before completely on, the end of the clamp leg may press against the neck.
