Answer:	It is meant to attach to a guitar that already has pegs on it for attaching to the holes in the end of the straps.

(I assume there is not a strap button on the neck end of the body of the guitar)Yes, it will work. The strap comes with a cord on one end that can be tied around the guitar near the tuners on the neck.
