The Korg TM series which lets you use a tuner and metronome simultaneously, has been revamped. The TM-60 is the newest model and features a larger display that can show the tuner and metronome simultaneously. The battery life has also been dramatically improved. With the all-new TM-60, you’ll be able to enjoy pitch training and rhythm training without having to switch functions or be concerned with battery life.
Convenient and Easy to Use
Tuning and rhythm training are indispensable for brass band or orchestral practice. In addition to letting you use the tuner and metronome simultaneously, the TM-60 features a display that’s approximately 1.3 times larger than the previous model, allowing easy viewing even when the unit is placed on your music stand, and also allowing the tuner and metronome functions to both be viewed simultaneously. You’ll be able to use practicing techniques that are idiomatic to orchestral instruments, while varying the tone in time with the tempo, or checking the pitch of chords while using the metronome.
Excellent Response Meter
Korg's proprietary technology accurately detects the pitch without any time lag. The pitch drift that is prone to occur during long tones played on a wind instrument can be detected before it happens, letting you train yourself to produce unwavering tone with stable pitch.
Wide Detection Range
The TM-60 can detect note names and pitches for a variety of orchestral and other instruments. The range from C1 to C8 can easily be detected. Even acoustic instruments that are difficult to detect because their sound contains a significant amount of low-frequency energy or a large number of partials, such as guitar and ukulele, can be tuned easily and accurately. By attaching the CM-200 clip on microphone to your instrument, the vibrations can be sent directly to the tuner for more accurate tuning.
- KORG TECHNOLOGY: High precision, simultaneous use tuner and metronome with Instant pitch detection response
- CONVENIENT: Large, backlit LCD display, adjustable calibration and marked third intervals
- VERSATILE: C1-C8 detection range for variety of instruments, 15 rhythm variations and 3 types of tempo settings
- PRACTICAL: Memory backup, auto shut off and long battery life

User questions & answers
Question: | Do they sell the clip on part |
Answer: | Are you getting that speed directly connected to your modem, or via wireless? If it is via wireless, the wireless router you have COULD be the issue (not necessarily, but potentially). If those are the speeds that you're getting when hard connected to the SB6190 modem, then Comcast likely isn't providing the bandwidth they promised. You also need to know your computer's network card capabilities, which may limit the DL speeds, even when hard connected to the modem.I have this modem and I have the Comcast 150MB/s plan. I usually get DL speeds that are surprisingly over 150MB/s when hard connected to the modem. This modem can handle DL speeds much higher than 250MB, so if you're hard connected to it, the problem is likely with Comcast. |
Question: | will this tuner work on voice |
Answer: | Its definitely not true that it has "no RAM" as you can see at the link below even the older SB6183 has 128MB of DDR3 RAM (and 16MB Flash for the firmware/OS). However people are correct in saying that how much dosen't really matter since this is only a modem. Unless you are only connecting one device straight into it you're going to be using a router, so the RAM/CPU specs of it your router are far more important. This modem will not be your bottleneck at any point. If I had to guess though since its designed to support up to 1.4 Gbps downstream speeds my guess would be around 128 to 256MB of DDR3 RAM. I do know it uses the intel puma 6 chipset which is based on a 1.2Ghz atom CPU.In general though I say just go with whatever you can afford that supports the largest numbers of bonded channels so you have a more future proof modem. I decided to go with this Arris because that's the brand my small local cable co seems to always use so I feel there is a better chance of them updating the firmware of it. The Netgear CM600 would be a good choice as well since its close to the same number of bonded channels supported (24x8, vs the 32x8 of this Arris modem).https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r29783073-SB6183-Naked-SB6183-DG1670A-Latency-Shootout (the RAM chip on the mobo is 128MB of Samsung DDR3 RAM) |
Question: | Includes the CM-200 clip on microphone |
Answer: | Just off the phone with Xfinity to get this provisioned (can't do it on your own, they have to add it in via MAC address before it will work). As previously mentioned in these answers this does NOT support Gigabit speeds with Comcast/Xfinity. Gigabit requires DOCSYS 3.1, this is 3.0. It does work with the 150Mbps (what I have), 250, and 400 plans. Xfinity site says "Up to 644 Mbps" - https://mydeviceinfo.xfinity.com/device/arris-sb6190-461 |
Question: | Can it be used for a trumpet |
Answer: | Yes, it comes with a 3ft. coaxial cable and a 3ft. RJ45 cable... |

Question: | Doesn't this tuner show the sharp and flat notes? Or do I need to buy the chromatic version (for twice the price) to get that feature |
Answer: | This tuner does not show flats or sharps....never even thought about this until your question! We use 3 in our household for tuning violin, cello and guitar. Didn't know there was a chromatic version. But, why can't you tune any instrument to a given non-accidental note anyway? |
Question: | Can this still display the notes while playing even when you're not tuning |
Answer: | When you hit the toggle switch for tuning mode, it mutes the sound but displays notes for tuning. Hitting switch again reverts to sound but note display is NOT shown when playing. |

Battery life is also approximately three times longer than previous units, allowing for approximately 24 hours of continuous operation. Forty years after it developed the worlds first needle-type meter tuner, KORG has created the the PitchCrow-G, bringing accuracy and reliability to a higher level for clip-on tuners. Compact and lightweight clip-on tuner with a straightforward design The PitchCrow-G provides maximum functionality at the minimum size. In keeping with KORGs philosophy towards tuning products, a smaller, sleeker, and more accurate clip-on tuner was the ultimate goal when designing the PitchCrow-G. The most notable change is in the size of the display. Without increasing the size of the meter's display area, KORG significantly narrowed the unused space around the edge resulting in a more compact tuner overall. They also significantly slimmed down the thickness of the body. Both of these factors also significantly reduced the weight of the PitchCrow-G. The clip section has also been improved. The clip uses a more efficient and simplistic design, resulting in improved strength and reliability. It goes without saying that the new design provides uncompromised holding power on any type of headstock, and also retains maximum flexibility due to the its unique ball joint. Small, yet easily visible, light. yet strong. The PitchCrow-G provides a more advanced tuning experience for all guitarists and bassists. User questions & answers
Question: | can I set the pitch to |
Answer: | Mine did. Good unit - Korg stuff is usually well made; this is no exception. |
Question: | Mine didn't have a battery in it. That's disappointing. Does anybody know which battery it takes? Not listed on the product or in the meager instruct |
Answer: | 30mm or 1.18 inch |
Question: | Does this work for a flute |
Answer: | It's standard spacing. Fit right on my old spanish made classical. I think it would be 1 3/8" spacing and 10 mm posts. A great product for the money. They are not Schallers, but few tuners are. |
Question: | Will it work for ukulele |
Answer: | I cannot say if it fits ALL classical guitar. I do know that it fits the Denver classical guitar that I have. But I think it should fit all classical guitar since the tuners are standard. In my case, I had to slightly widen the holes using a piece of sand paper on a pencil because it was a little too tight. The screws to hold the tuners in place did not line up with the original but that may not always be the case. Even if the screw holes do not line up, this is very easy to fix: a very thin screwdriver pressed into the wood will give the small screws a good grip to start, after which just tightening the screws will finish the job. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the switch "clickless" like the full-size Pitchblack pedal |
Answer: | I've have not used the full-size Pitchblack, but my mini never gets used because the "pop" is offensive at mid-large size shows. It may be due to the fact that I'm using an acoustic guitar with a phatom powered DI. When using my electric guitar plugged into an electric guitar amp, there is no "pop". You will still hear a slight "click" from the mechanics of the switch, but I doubt that would bother anyone. |
Question: | does this come with the 9v power |
Answer: | No, it does not. You can use any 9v pedal power such as One Spot or Powerall. |
Question: | Does this pedal have silent tuning? Meaning, does it turn off the sound of your guitar while you use the pedal to tune? Thanks for the help |
Answer: | Yes it does. If you push the button it cuts off the amp and tunes it without sound. |

Korg Pitchclip
Used and loved by players around the world, Korg's clip-on tuners have earned a place as standard equipment for the modern guitarist. The compact, affordable, and easy-to-use Pitchclip is the latest addition to the popular Korg clip-on family. Simple and user-friendly, the Pitchclip offers highly accurate tuning, fast and ultra-responsive results, and excellent visibility. Pitchclip is the choice for every guitar or bass player who desires fast, accurate, and carefree tuning.
Clear, bright, and easy-to-read LED display The Pitchclip’s bright LED display ensures high contrast and a wide angle of visibility; the meter indication remains clear even in dimly lit locations. Adjustable through 120 degrees, the meter/display section can be raised to provide the player with good visibility while tuning in a natural position.
Boasting fast pitch detection and processing, accuracy with ±1 cent, and a detection range that covers from A0 to C8, the Pitchclip outperforms many of the clip-on tuners on the market today. Combined with the affordable price and enhanced display, the Pitchclip is a remarkable value.
Simple, Convenient Clip-On Style Tuner
The design goals for Pitchclip were simple, convenient features and total ease of use. Clip the tuner to your headstock, flick on the power, and you’re ready to tune. As you play a string, the built-in piezo sensor will quickly sense the instrument’s vibrations and indicate the pitch in the meter.
Display Reverse Mode Assures Easy Viewing
This function conveniently and quickly reverses the meter display, switching top and bottom. This prevents the player from having to view the display information upside down; regardless of whether the tuner is attached to the front or the rear of the headstock. When powering on, simply hold down the power switch for an extended time to reverse the display. Now, the musician is free to choose the position that's most comfortable and convenient; this feature also makes the Pitchclip a great choice for left-handed players as well.
Power Saving Reliability
A newly engineered type of rubber is used in the clip, allowing the reliable attachment to a variety of headstocks; ukulele, electric bass, classical guitar and so on. By relocating the battery compartment to the clip section, the meter display section has been made lighter and slimmer, lowering the overall center of gravity and creating a more secure mounting than ever before.
