Question:	The tote bag it looks like sack. Does it protect the Ulk? any padding
Answer:	All ukuleles are small, and if you have larger hands, you might find the short scale of a soprano to be cramped. No ukulele could be called "too big", so try to find a shop that has all four sizes and decide which is most comfortable for you. The tenor is easy to play and has more depth and "punch", but the little soprano wins on charm.
Question:	many reviews mention instrument not holding tune. is this due to poor tuners, or just string stretch that occurs on any instrument
Answer:	Read the reviews. My wife loves hers. Mine developed a crack in the top within two weeks of owning it and I returned and swapped for a Kala KA-S. I think that my wife's less expensive Kala KA-15S has a nicer tone than mine. But yes, it's good quality. It's made of lovely wood too. A very beautiful little instrument. I recommend buying from Amazon and saving the shipping materials until you're sure you love it. Returns are free on Amazon...for a time. :)
Question:	Is the ukulele that comes with the starter kit the ka-15s because it says ltp-s on the inside of the instrument
Answer:	That's how ukuleles are suppose to be strung traditionally. Its called re-entrant and a few other stringed instruments do this as well. And most teaching material is for ukes strung that way. Don't rearrange the strings or it will be impossible to use chord the standard chord fingerings. If you want linear tuning (like on guitar) you have to by strings that say "low g" on the package. That way the finger patterns still work. But I wouldn't do this if I were a beginner because it will sound less like a traditional ukulele if you did that. Some people do that but those people are purposefully trying to create a unique sound, and they usually do it on a tenor ukulele, not soprano.
Question:	can strings be replaced when they break by standard strings
Answer:	I got one for me and my sister. Most low cost ukuleles are unplayable until you have them set up and restrung with better quality strings. Not this one. It comes ready to play out of the box, it just takes a couple weeks until the strings don't fall out of tune, but that's true of all nylon strings.

Question:	Is the "G" string set for high octave tuning
Answer:	The ones I have purchased have been high G; however, I think you can get low G, but you may have to search for that specifically, and in the length you need. I’m not a professional, though. I’ve changed strings on 3 or 4 ukes amd I’ve built only one uke so far, with the 2nd underway.

Answer:	I have. I found that some pieces don't sound as good with a low g. So, I have pretty much returned my tenors to high g. High g is more universal.

Question:	Are these high G or low G tuned strings
Answer:	In regards to strings? I am not sure whether there is strings for concert size, but I have tenor uke also and tenor uke , because of bigger size, have thicker and longer strings. As you may know if you can equate soprano size ukeas Violin, concert size as viola, and tenor as cello and Baritone uke as bass in an orchestra, you can get the idea that as you move up, the size gets larger and produce lower notes. So the soprano string is thinnest and produce highest pitched notes.

Answer:	the low G is a wound string which is tuned one octave lower than the high G. it is tuned lower the C string while to high G is tuned higher than the C. Guitar players tend to like low G tuning as it is more like guitar. I buy single low g strings which allows versatility.
