What are the gauges of the Aquila sugar baritone strings

Answer:

I just recently had to switch from the Chicken-only recipe to the sweet potato AND chicken. They’ve consolidated the foods. Our small Boston Terriers loves the food the same way. I think the transition was seamless for him. I did notice some minor changes with the excrement at first, but things seem to be back to normal. I personally opted for the sweet potato for the added antioxidants to his diet. His hair always looks amazing and everyone seem to comment on how shiny it is. It has truly kept him very health over the last 4 1/2 years. I think if your chihuahua was eating another merrick blend, he should adapt just fine.

Compared to Nylon, the New Nylgut produces a better sound and stays in tune better, this because the moisture absorption is less of .1% against the 2.0% of Nylon normally employed for the musical strings (i.e. Du Pont Tynex polyammide 6-12).

Answer:	Yes,great sounding wound string but has a short life compared to the other strings in the set. Buy three or four xtra low g’s.

Answer:	One set of strings is: four strings that are each the notes for 1A string, 2E string, 3C string and 4G string. They will also be color coded so there is no confusion as to the order they will be strung over the fret board. The soprano, concert and tenor sizes of 'ukuleles can have the option of using a low G steal or a high G string. A low G string will have a fuller guitar sound to it and a high G will be light and bright sounding. Never put all steal strings onto a 'uke . You will crack the neck. Hope this helps. Answer:	Yes, you can and the low G is a lovely sound!

Answer:	Mandolin tuning is GDAE, not GDEA. Mando standard tuning is G3-D4-A4-E5 and typically has a 13" to 13 7/8" scale and have as many as 29 frets Tenor "low G" tuning is G3-C4-E4-A4 and use a scale that's about 17" and have 17 to 19 frets. The difference in scale length has some additional challenges. You can probably bring the C4 string up to D4 pretty easily. You'll need to lower the E4 string to A4, which means you'll probably need a thicker string and may need to open up the slot on the nut or risk cracking the nut. The real challenge will be bringing the A(4) string up more than an octave to E(5). As far as "can you do it?" goes: yes, you can bring the uke up to mandolin tuning, but it adds a lot of stress to the instrument that it wasn't designed for (depending on the instrument, you can collapse the top or tear off the bridge). You'll also find that the nylon strings won't like being pulled that taut and they'll stretch and/or break. A steel string will give you a better shot at achieving an E(5) pitch, but you risk damaging the instrument.

Question:	What are the string gauges
Answer:	A = 0.62mm, E = 0.77mm, C = 0.95mm, G = 0.67mm. If you are playing any of the popular new models of banjolele (Gold Tone, Oscar Schmidt, Kmise ect.) these are a drop-in replacement. A banjolele set up for thinner fluorocarbon strings may need the slot of the nut and bridge widened. This set uses an Aquila Red series for the C string. The others are plain Nylgut. None are wound strings.

Answer:	I'm using them for a 1920's banjo-uke, sopranos size. II think Aquila makes these to fit on any size banjo-uke. I read somewhere that they fit up to 17" inch scale (tenor). For certain they should work with soprano or concert. They are very nice strings and sound great.

Question:	just received these strings, pack was sealed but inside was 3 colored nylon and one steel string in a plastic pouch. Is this normal for Aquila ukulele
Answer:	AQ-101 is a low G set of soprano STRINGS. With low G set, the G is wound(metal) and is an active lower than standard ukulele strung sets. If you prefer high/standard G, then you need AQ-100. Hope this helps
Question:	Can I use these for long neck soprano
Answer:	long neck soprano is scale of concert, so use concert strings. soprano are designed to fit usually length, and while they might fit...they will sound tinny.

Question:	Does the Low G snap easily like in the red series
Answer:	I'm not sure, but my experience so far has been very positive. The umbrella seems to be solidly built and holds up well in moderately strong wind. It crisply snaps open and folds up easily. It's also very compact and fits into most bags. However, it's not a very wide umbrella, if that's a necessity. I would also recommend tying it with the attached strap right after use.

Answer:	not sure what you mean by standard? these travel umbrellas, at this size, are all the same. maybe you are asking because one is less expensive than another? that is an amazon dynamic where some colors are easier to get and some are not... so sometimes "basic" black is cheaper. not sure if that was why you asked but... if so... buy the color you'd like at the price you like. they are the same as far as i have experienced--- i have bought both amazon basics and the repel brand, same-size, travel, umbrellas.... and see no difference other than the amazon basics having a wind vent.

Answer:	the wind vents only make a difference for me when the wind is not hitting the umbrella straight on. if it does that i will push the vents down and not allow the air to escape. So yes it makes a difference but not in all conditions. In normal wind its fine.

Are these the new squeekless version of the sugar string

Answer:

The string that would be closest to the floor would be the one listed as Red, this is the 1st string. The 2nd string, just above that is the Blue. The 3rd string, from the floor, is the Green one. The one closest to your face, on the top, would be the final, White string. If you were looking at the face of the Uke, the 4th string (white string) would be the one furthest to the left, and the Red labeled string would be furthest to the right. Hope that helps!
