User questions & answers

Question: What is the diameter of the pull rod, 6mm or 8mm
Answer: 6mm (I have just measured it). This is a superb HH, by the way. Great action, lighter than the "lightweight" Pearl H150S, and better engineered than the flimsy DW Ultralight 6500 (both of which I own).
Question: Do older hats with a smaller center hole fit on this stand
Answer: It’s the same setup as other hi hats stands. You might have to use a different clutch and seat to accommodate.
Question: Does the base swivel
Answer: Nope, the pedal an feet are mounted in one spot. I will say, it is surprisingly sold and sturdy for such a light stand!

User questions & answers

Question: Does this come with two pull rods
Answer: Yes, it comes with a long and a short rod.
Question: Do you guys thinks i should shell out the money for this stand or would i be fine with the 310 speed cobra stand? I'm just curious if it's worth the m
Answer: Good question. Firstly, the Speed Cobra Lever Glide 910 is worth the money. It's infinitely adjustable, super quiet, convenient(off and on w/HH quickly), and I like the longer footboard. Now the questions to ask yourself are: how much playing and what type of playing am I going to do. Plan on doing a lot of gigging? Great stand for that........it's gonna hold up to lots of hard touring and its easy to pack away at the end of the night. Plan on doing some studio work? Great stand for that too.......very quiet and easy to adjust for different HH, different feels for different genres etc. The 310 is a great stand, but if your planning on a variety of playing(and a lot of it) this stand would be worth the extra cash and won't let you down. keep the 310 around for practice. That's what I did with my iron cobra.
