11 best rogue cheap acoustic guitar

A "Rogue" cheap acoustic guitar likely refers to an acoustic guitar produced by the brand Rogue, which is known for offering budget-friendly musical instruments. Here's what you should know about Rogue cheap acoustic guitars:

  1. Affordability:

    • Rogue guitars are designed to be affordable and accessible to beginner and budget-conscious musicians. They are often priced lower than many other acoustic guitar brands.
  2. Variety:

    • Rogue offers a variety of acoustic guitar models, including dreadnought, concert, and folk body shapes. This allows players to choose a style that suits their preferences.
  3. Materials:

    • To keep costs low, Rogue guitars are typically made from budget-friendly materials. This may include laminated woods for the top, back, and sides. While this affects the tone compared to high-end guitars, they are still functional for beginners.
  4. Sound Quality:

    • Rogue acoustic guitars provide decent sound quality for their price range. However, they may not match the tonal richness and projection of more expensive guitars.
  5. Playability:

    • Many Rogue guitars are designed with playability in mind, making them suitable for beginners. They often have a comfortable neck profile and low action (string height), which can make it easier for novice players to fret chords and notes.
  6. Durability:

    • Rogue guitars are generally sturdy and can withstand typical wear and tear. However, as with any musical instrument, proper care is essential for longevity.
  7. Accessories:

    • Some Rogue guitar packages may come with accessories like gig bags, picks, and extra strings, making them convenient for beginners who need essential gear.
  8. Upgrades:

    • While Rogue guitars are budget-friendly, some players may choose to upgrade certain components over time, such as the guitar's strings or tuners, to enhance performance.
  9. Intended Use:

    • Rogue cheap acoustic guitars are best suited for beginners, casual players, or those looking for an inexpensive option for travel or practice.
  10. Availability:

    • You can find Rogue acoustic guitars in music stores, both physical and online, as well as through various retailers.

It's important to keep in mind that while Rogue guitars are a budget-friendly option, they may not offer the same level of craftsmanship and tonal quality as higher-end acoustic guitars. However, they can be an excellent starting point for beginners who want to learn to play the guitar without making a substantial financial commitment upfront.

User questions & answers

Question: does this guitar have an output jack
Answer: No. This is only acoustic guitar.
Question: How is the action? what is the width of the neck, e string to e string? distance between strings? thank you
Answer: My guitar was a gift, but I believe it was this same one. My guitar teacher says that the action is rather high on my guitar and I am looking to lower the action and/or use lighter gauged strings. I agree that the neck is a bit wide, but that might just be my smaller hands talking.
Question: Does this guitar come with a strap button on the body, or will there need to be 2 installed on it
Answer: It has one strap button on the bottom but nothing on the neck end. You can use a strap tie at the headstock. I installed a second button on the heel of the neck.
Question: ARE THESE STILL MADE IN KOREA
Answer: I know that its not made in the USA especially at this price, however, it has good sound quality, stays in tune and is easy to play .I really like this guitar!

User questions & answers

Question: is this too big for a small 10 year old
Answer: I wouldn't know how to answer that since I don't know how small your 10 year old is. But, it is a 3/4 size guitar and I bought it for my daughter when she was 11 and she's about average. I don't think you can get guitars much smaller. It's a really nice sounding guitar. Of course, there are better but you have to pay a lot more for those.
Question: Is this 3/4 or 7/8? Every other website(including the seller's website) says 7/8, except amazon
Answer: I would say it is 3/4 size. My son is 12 years old, 77# and not quite 5' tall and he plays it without trouble. I hope this helps you out.
Question: A lot of the reviews state that this is actually a full sized guitar. Is this the smaller 3/4 or not? Looking for use by an 8 year old
Answer: this guitar is bulky for me and i'm 5'5 and weigh 125 pounds. so for an 8 yr. old, its gonna be big. big n bulky. but for an adult its good/not full size, but close to full size. i would get an 8yr.old the 'amigo' guitar. the Am30 or Am15 model. it's better n much easier to handle n learn on.
Question: I'm left handed. Is this a right handed guitar
Answer: Yes, it is a right handed guitar. Rogue makes a full size (not the 7/8th version here) dreadnought body guitar, RG-624. Available from Amazon athttp://www.amazon.com/RG-624-Left-Handed-Dreadnought-Acoustic-Natural/dp/B0018TJFPS/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1380660577&sr=1-1&keywords=rogue+left+handedORFrom Musician's Friend athttp://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/rogue-rg-624-left-handed-dreadnought-acoustic-guitarBoth have free shipping.Keep in mind, if you haven't already learned to play left handed, most lefties play a standard "right hand" guitar. Some claim that it's easier for them because they have more dexterity fingering and forming chords with the left hand that picking and strumming doesn't require with the right hand.

User questions & answers

Question: does this have a Nitrocellulose or poly Finish
Answer: I know there's not a whole lot of info on this guitar but I'm pretty sure its more of a poly finish. For being a $50 guitar it plays, sounds and feels pretty good.
Question: What is the size and what is wrong with strings because a lot of people are saying you have to change the strings
Answer: As flat_tire says it's a full size dreadnought. There are lots of strings on the market, various gauges and sound characteristics determined by materials and production method. The stock strings are fine. When it comes time to change them use D'Addario EJ16 or EJ15 depending on how light you want the strings to be. Question: can anyone tell me how this guitar perform against a Jasmine or Fender? Is it compareable
Answer: i had fender not sure of jasmine, but sound is better with this model *(some people tend to think that price related to quality of sound), ( for this model you get more deep and warm sound if you use "warm sound" strings( in my case it was bronze 80/20) also some like "string wound" or "country style" strings ( lower sound and you might say pitchy/ cold)
Question: What is the color on the back of the guitar
Answer: I apologize for the delayed response. It is w cherrywood color on the back.
