Answer: It’s more of a khaki not gold from what I recall. I bought these for our bedroom in a house we sold 2 years ago and left them for the new owners. Hope that helps.

Answer: It is depend on what kind of repair. Minor repairs yes but If the motor is not working then you need a new one. Most of small electric or electronic inexpensive hand tools sold in the market not worth fixing it because you can't find the parts and if you do it cost will be more than the price of new one.
