User questions & answers
Question: | what case that fit to these guitar |
Answer: | The official answer that I got from Fender customer support is that this guitar, smaller frame and body as it has, is best suited for the Fender branded Classical Guitar case. That is what I have, and it fits like a glove so you won’t have to worry about your investment banging around inside the case while traveling. If you are looking for something other than Fender cases, just take the measurements from the case I mentioned above, and make sure the case you are looking at is at least that big. I hope this helps! |
Question: | Does the newporter fit well in a standard dreadnought case |
Answer: | Yes, this is the description of what I bought “ Fender Flat-Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Case” and it fits good. |
Question: | Is this guitar an electric acoustic |
Answer: | yes, acoustic/electric |
Question: | I love the factory strings, does anyone know what kind of strings come on the fender rodondo |
Answer: | Hi, the strings on this guitar are the Fender Dura-Tone Coated 80/20 Bronze (.012-.052 Gauge). Thank you. |

User questions & answers
Question: | The guitar was missing one strap button, shouldn’t there be two |
Answer: | This model, like a lot of cheaper acoustics, only has one. The easiest thing to do is tie the other end of the strap to the headstock, by the nut. Or you could have a second button installed at a guitar shop (or on your own if you're brave). |
Question: | How long is the delivery? I need it on 27 for a present |
Answer: | Probably won't make it in time now |
Question: | How hard is it to tune yourself when you first get it? (Total rookie here- wanting to start learning |
Answer: | There is a tuner. You just set it to the guitar and plink a string, then the tuner shows the tone. It’s very easy. I was a very beginner but could tune it immediately. |
Question: | What’s the size difference between kid size and this guitar. It’s for an 8 year old. Is this too big |
Answer: | Yes, it's going to be too big for most 8-year olds. I'd recommend that you go to a regular guitar store and try several out before making your decision, so you have some benchmarks to help you decide. There are 3/4 sized guitars which sound pretty decent for beginners, and also there are cutaways and double cutaways (Yamaha for example) with thinner bodies that make it easier for a child or small adult to learn. Also ask about the "scale" of the guitar. Regular scale is 25.5 inches, but slightly shorter guitars will be easier for children and small adults to play. I recommend that you buy a brand name, as well. If the guitar is well-made, the person is more likely to stay with it and end up learning to play the guitar. |

Fender FA-345CE
An instrument that sounds as good as it looks, the FA-345CE offers legendary Fender sound and performance in a single-cutaway body. Quality laminate construction, including lacewood back and sides and flame maple top with tortoiseshell binding, along with a modern Fender 3+3 headstock and Viking bridge create an easy-playing instrument that sounds great. New and experienced players alike will appreciate the slim mahogany neck that gives the guitar a lively tone while complementing the flame maple top. The Fishman electronics with a built-in tuner allow you to take your sound to the stage with ease.
Flame Maple Top & Lacewood Back/Sides
Body Shape: Smaller than a dreadnought, concert-style bodies are built for clear articulation and optimal projection, no matter the playing style or venue.
Top Wood: Maple gives this guitar a clear, bright tone and the flame maple top—well, that gives you a flash of attitude.
Back/Sides Wood: Sounding similar to mahogany, but with bright, snappy overtones, the rich sound and fast dynamic response of lacewood makes it a great tone wood.
Fishman Electronics
Fishman Electronics assure the sound is true to the instrument’s natural voice. The preamp design has a small footprint, is easy to use and delivers reliable performance.
Modern Appointments
The modern 3+3 headstock adds a touch of traditional style to your guitar. In a particularly elegant touch, the body of this guitar is bound with stunning tortoiseshell binding.
